We just switched to Riverwest Vet after years of going to a different Milwaukee vet, feeling kind of dissatisfied and unheard. Our cat has been having urinary issues and giving us a ton of grief, and the vets here have been so, so helpful. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Not only are the doctors amazing, but the techs and desk workers are incredible as well. Unlike many primary vets, urgent vets, ER vets I’ve visited, I don’t have a doubt in my mind that these people care about my pet and genuinely want the best care possible for her. Everyone here is kind, attentive, patient, and make any issue with your pet feel manageable and so much less stressful. Pricing is very very reasonable and they are always willing to give price breakdowns before doing anything! TAKE YOUR PETS HERE! You won’t regret it.

Had a wonderful experience at Riverwest Vet Clinic! Brought my new kitten Dot here for her first appointment and the staff were incredibly responsive and able to get me on the schedule within a week or so. Both Dr. Kindness and the staff were very thorough and took the time to answer all of my questions and go over the details of tests and procedures. It’s clear they care so much and are very conscious of making your pet comfortable, especially a little one who hasn’t had much experience at the vet! They also provided an itemized list of services at the beginning of the appointment so I could see what my costs would be and what I could hold off on for budgeting purposes, which was very helpful for my wallet. I was also able to pick up some prescriptions quickly after her tests came back. I’m so relieved that I found a wonderful local and trustworthy place for little Dot :) Thank you!

I can't recommend them enough! Dr Becky is the absolute best, she's been able to help my boy work through some chronic issues he was having that stumped other vets. My puppy sees Dr Kindness and he's also incredible! All of the technicians and assistants are also amazing and love all pets like their own. It's great to support a local, woman owned business! ❤️

Dr. Becky Banks is phenomenal. She's the first vet in over 20 years of cat ownership where it truly felt like she listened. My concerns were never dismissed, just investigated or she would explain to me why I didn't need to be worried, instead of talking down to me. I was delighted and surprised at how DEATILED her notes on my pet were from a previous visit. She treats my cats as they are instead of mindlessly prescribing standard care in spite of how well they're doing, and I appreciate that she doesn't instantly jump to medicating everything away but she doesn't dismiss it if necessary which I appreciate, I think it's important to keep an open mind but to also keep up current science and research. And you can ask her anything and she just patiently answers, I didn't get rushed out of the door or an annoyed look for even daring to want a deeper understanding of my pet. I highly recommend visiting, I always feel better after she's seen my cat.

I cannot stress enough how appreciative I am for Dr. Banks and the entire team at Riverwest Vet! My cat was diagnosed with diabetes about 2 years ago, which is when I switched to Riverwest Vet. From day 1 I have been treated with nothing but respect and care, and my options were always laid out in a thoughtful and compassionate way. For the last two days, I have been dealing with an unexpected problem with my pharmacy, and the veterinary team fielded many calls and went above and beyond to make sure I got my cat's insulin before it ran out today. I have never felt so well cared for in my many years of being a pet parent. They are seriously the best!
