We had our male bunny neutered here. The staff was friendly once we got there. The doctor even called us once the surgery was done, to tell us everything went well. The staff came out to the car to pick him up, and bring him back out to us. They where very busy, but took the time to answer any questions.

As a "Pet Hospital," Riverview Veterinary Service PC offers a range of services to address the healthcare needs of various animals. The customer reviews specifically mention care for a rabbit and a horse, indicating a practice that caters to both small animals and equine patients. Based on this and the general scope of a veterinary service, you can likely expect services such as:

  • Small Animal Care: This typically includes routine wellness exams, vaccinations, parasite prevention and control, dental care, diagnostic services (laboratory work, imaging), surgical procedures (such as neutering, as mentioned in a review), anesthesia and pain management, microchipping, nutritional counseling, and treatment of illnesses and injuries in animals like rabbits, cats, and dogs.
  • Equine Care: As highlighted by a satisfied horse owner, Riverview Veterinary Service PC provides care for horses. This may include routine health checks, vaccinations, dental care (floating), lameness evaluations, treatment of injuries and illnesses, and potentially on-farm services given the nature of equine care.
  • Surgical Services: The neutering of a rabbit indicates that surgical procedures are performed at the clinic. This likely extends to other routine surgeries for small animals and potentially more specialized procedures depending on the clinic's capabilities.
  • Diagnostic Services: To accurately diagnose health issues, the clinic likely offers diagnostic tools such as laboratory testing and imaging (like X-rays, although not explicitly mentioned).
  • Preventative Care: A cornerstone of veterinary medicine, this includes vaccinations and parasite control tailored to the specific needs of different animal species.
  • Client Communication: The positive review mentions the doctor calling after a surgery to provide an update, indicating a commitment to keeping pet owners informed about their animal's well-being. The staff also took the time to answer questions, even when busy, highlighting good communication practices.

Several key features of Riverview Veterinary Service PC stand out based on the customer feedback. The "friendly" nature of the staff is consistently praised, suggesting a welcoming and approachable team. The fact that the doctor personally called after a surgical procedure demonstrates a commitment to patient care and client communication. Furthermore, the willingness of the staff to come out to the car to pick up and return a pet highlights a level of convenience and care for both the animal and the owner, especially when the clinic is busy.

The expertise of Dr. Law in caring for horses for an extended period (two years) and the strong recommendation from the horse owner underscore the competence and reliability of the veterinary professionals at Riverview Veterinary Service PC, particularly in equine medicine.
