Rivergate Veterinary Clinic

Dr. Eve and the staff at Rivergate are a team I will be recommending to everyone. They are so kind. Dr. Eve truly cares about her patients and is so warm and lovely, which is rare to find in a vetrinary staff given that most are a bit cold and desensitized to everything. My girl got mammary tumors removed and I truly felt her in good hands.

I cannot say enough positive things about Rivergate and Peter Kross. I have been seeing him for all of my furbabies since 1997. Kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, caring and one of the best humans I know. The staff is wonderful as well. Kim, Alex, Leo.. their loyalty to the practice and dedication to the patients is unmatched. Thank you all for all you have done for me and my babies over the last 27 years!

My dog has been coming here since she was a puppy. She was very ill as a puppy during Covid and spent 3 days under their amazing care - always treated my dog and me with kindness and expertise. Not only are all the vets wonderful ( Dr Kaminski is our regular vet - shout out to her), but being open 6 days a week is incredibly helpful when my dog is ill. And we also can just pop in when prescriptions run low if we need some extra food and treats. Highly recommended Rivergate!

Hands down the best team and veterinary facility I have ever come upon. I have had 8 dogs in my history with Peter Kross and he and his team are far and beyond champs in all ways. Seriously. The . Best.

We had a deadly procedure done with a tooth extraction on our cat. It caused a blood clot in his hind legs and he died a few weeks later. They misdiagnosed his rapid breathing for asthma when it was obvious signs for a stroke and all symptoms pointed to congestive heart failure which had been going on for 1.5 years of us taking him there for these symptoms. We took our cat to a real pet hospital out of state when he had the final blood clot and they are real ER DR’s (highly educated and caring) who said the signs were obvious and your vet clinic should have picked them up with your last visits for these issues. This vet clinic is too busy and too overloaded for the size and capabilities and experience they (don’t) have. If we would’ve taken our pet to a normal hospital with highly trained doctors, this would’ve never happened. We put our trust into this veterinary clinic and they turned out to be a joke. It is your typical overly busy wellness clinic that takes on too much appointments for profit only as it seems to be there only concern is payment. We are never taking our pets there again. Take your pets to highly trained doctors or even the pet hospital when it has issues and avoid this place at all costs, it’s an appointment churning money grab facility.
