River Oaks Veterinary Clinic

I called and made an appointment for both my dogs. When I arrive, I’m told that they can’t be seen because they’re past due on a visit. I have a newborn baby. I wish they would’ve said something I do not live in this area. I came all the way out when I made the appointment. I asked the receptionist if she could check my account to see what was needed and she said that all in needed were a couple of shots and then I could come in today. I think it’s highly unprofessional that I get sent away after driving almost an hour to get here and only being told I’m sorry we can’t do nothing for you. My last time doing business here they could’ve at least tried to accommodate one dog.

I have been taking our Cat Lucky there River Oaks clinic for four years since he was a kitten. Their customer service is very good. However, we noticed Lucky had a sign of shortness of breath while he played around. And we reported several times to The Dr who saw him, actually a couple of them saw him. Always they said he was well. But on The last exam I took with them he had a new behavior.…. He got antibiotics and after that no changes again I took him for another follow-up nothing happened the same story. Sadly our beloved Lucky suddenly passed away as always he was playing with his toys he had shortness of breath my husband gave him CPR but he did not come back. My family and I went through with a full of regret and grief we didn't help him as he needed the most. We miss him every day. His love is staying in Our hearts forever. No none of them found the issue that he was going through and sadly ended up unknown.

Our first visit with our adopted/ rescued Lab. Wow everyone from the front desk to the vet tech and the veterinarian were awesome. Very good at explaining everything compassionate and gentle too. Highly recommend

ROVC is an awesome clinic. They do get backed up at times, but it is a ONE vet practice. These people, especially the older staff that I have gotten to know, genuinely care about the animals and understand I am a bit emotional about my 14 year old dog. Dr. McCorkendale takes his time to explain things to owners about what is going on and is very reasonably priced.

Friendly staff, good prices, good kennel. I recommend this facility. Bring your own dog food, cut food cost. Dogs get walked several times a day. No camera view of dogs.
