Our family cat “Dante“ was going to be moving out of my parent’s house, and in with me. We rescued him from the Anti-Cruelty Society back in 2009 although he’s quite a senior cat he doesn’t look a day over nine! He rarely ever goes to the vet and thankfully, we haven’t had much reason to over the years. With that said, he gets extremely stressed out when having to go into a carrier and bring him to the vet. This was Dante’s first visit at River Forest Animal Hospital. Everyone was so wonderful, welcoming, kind, and warm, not just to Dante, but me as well. The appointment couldn’t have gone more wonderfully, which included his initial exam as well as clipping his claws, which has always been such an ordeal. The claw clipping was my biggest concern, and everyone was so wonderful that I don’t even think Dante realized it was happening. I’m thankful to have such a great place nearby in the event Dante needs another visit to the vet.

They are the Best veterinarians!! All of the staff there is really helpful and knowledgeable!! They have been so wonderful with my peanut kitty!! I highly recommend them to anybody looking for a veterinarian office!! Also I’m sure my peanut kitty would recommend them too, if she could speak human, because she loves the treat tubes they give her.

I had a great first visit at River Forest Animal Hospital. Dr. Lutton was very friendly and helpful. She gave my beloved cat Tom Barnaby her full attention. And answered questions I had about his health and gave good advice. Highly recommend her if looking for a new vet.

River Forest Animal Hospital was recommended from a family member and i could not be happier with this place. i have 2 other cats and no other vet in chicago has compared. bruce and i happily drive from chicago to river forest because we love everyone there. the vets are so personal yet knowledgeable and the techs treat bruce like he is their own. bruce is never even scared when we go, that says it all. :) so happy we found River Forest Animal Hospital!!
