Ridge Veterinary Hospital

2 years ago we took our puppy to get spayed. After the surgery, she wouldn’t let anyone touch her. we took her home no one even called to see how she was doing. It turned out they BROKE HER JAW. Our vet at home confirmed this. Dr Yoder never mentioned anything to us. It has been a nightmare since then. She doesn’t let anyone pat her and even though we have spent thousands on training, it’s been difficult because she is afraid of everyone. We have to give her 2 drugs for grooming. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone! Plus it was very expensive. The pictures show her now crooked mouth with the fang. We were told this will ultimately cause a lot of teeth and eating problems.

Dr Brown was super pleasant and the technicians were amazing. Everyone from check in to all the caring staff was wonderful. The pleasantly manner and wonderful first visit.

Riley is my bestfriend and she has seen me through a lot over the years and when she got sick I didn’t know what to do or where to turn. The first clinic I went to made us feel like we didn’t matter and my dog, who couldn’t even lift her own head didn’t matter…. When I took her to ridge I found compassion, I found a place where the people genuinely cared about my dog and my feelings. It wasn’t just my dog they cared about either, it was every animal that came in. I sat with Riles while she got some fluids and just watched…. I had never left Riley at a vets office before, let alone anywhere that wasn’t family, but after watching them and seeing them interact with other animals (without their owners) I felt safe and comfortable leaving my baby there. These two pictures are a couple days apart and if you have eyes you can see the difference…. I recommend this clinic to anyone who has fur babies. They won me over forever and I will forever be grateful for what they did for Riley.

Took my dog here because he was chewing and scratching like crazy so bad that he had several bald spots stated multiple times he hasn't had any signs of fleas and still it got dismissed as a flea allergy. Took him to another vets office and turns out he infact had a yeast infection. To make matters worse i brought a tiny kitten that was tossed out of a moving car begging for help to be denied i made an appointment but unfortunately she passed a day later when I called to cancel it i was asked if i wanted to cancel or reschedule and i explained she passed away the receptionist then says I'll remove it and the phone clicked as she hung up on me without an ounce of empathy

Only used them to neuter my new cat and get him all his new kitty stuff since I had a voucher for his surgery and I was about to move out of florida - I had a regular vet I used before that for my other pets. But they were very nice and very helpful even though we were only temporary patients! The vet was super nice about taking time to answer questions I had about possible medical scenarios with him and really took time to address my questions fully. So, thanks for all your help with Duane Barry! He's a super happy guy, handled the trip to Maine like a champ, and he is the biggest snuggle bug ever. And, he got along great with my other two cats instantly (He's super mellow!). His street-cat story has a very, very happy ending!❤
