Richmond Veterinary Hospital

All of the staff here have taken great care of my cats! My kitten was spayed here recently and they have been very helpful and kind through the whole process. My mom also takes our dogs here, and they saved our boys life. I recommend this vet to everyone with pets!

I took Tabitha in to see Dr. Guisinger. They were, as usual, clean, friendly, competitively priced, and kind. I used to take my cat here for years, up until she passed. Now, I've gone from bringing Tabitha to Anchor Bay Vet to here because you can go in in person, and they are a good vet. Very gentle, very thorough, no unnecessary tests. They explain everything well. Recommended. Update! Brought Chloé, my youngest, here for her vaccines and exam. Very good prices, friendly and gentle service, took excellent care of my little girl!

Although this office is very busy, I highly recommend. 2 years ago I had a very traumatic experience at another hospital with my baby. The other hospital, Black River Clinic, gave me two options: put your dog down now or pay 10k for surgery. I decided to leave the building and came here after it was recommended by two family members. That decision was one of the best I made. My dog had cancer that the other hospital missed the first appointment, and a collapsed lung as well. She was in a lot of pain, but I could tell she had strength and will to live. I brought her here and they drained the fluid so her lung would no longer be collapsed. This helped her greatly. I remember them doing some other things for pain relief, but it is fuzzy in my memory. They charged me a fraction of what the other vet did. It seemed like they truly cared about my baby. After her appointment, she wagged her tail and had energy I hadn’t seen in awhile. She pulled through another month with me, and peacefully passed away in my arms one night after work. I’m so glad I came here instead of feeling trapped by the other options and that the doctors here gave me so much more compassion and understanding.

Bring here my Maltese 11 years old. I moved from Europe to US 4 years ago and this is the best place I have found around. My dog had lots health issues etc but this place has very good specialists. No fear, prices also very reasonable.

Thanks all the amazing staff, my 9 years old boxer Ranger was in you care from 7 weeks old til yesterday when he crossed the rainbow bridge. We had to change our vet for a bit due to my health, but when we pulled into Richmond vet yesterday he was so excited cause he knew he was going to see his favorite vet techs and stuff here even when he didn't feel good. A special thanks to Anita Jonathan and Amanda for their amazing care of both myself and Ranger God bless and we will see you soon as my health has become much better and we will return to our most amazing veterinary hospital truly yours the Critchley family

They say 5 star rating, this establishment, with ALL employees deserves 15! I put my Churchill down, 2 weeks back, when he was 15 years. Yesterday, I received a card and Beautiful memorabilia from RV. , that touched our family to the core. Thank you to the moon and back🥲🤗😇
