Richmond Veterinary Clinic

We love this vet clinic, but yesterday, they absolutely proved why. My dog has bad allergies, so we have to get him a shot about every two months. Well, I let it go too long and he started licking a spot raw. I noticed it the day before and his fur kinda hid how bad it was. So I just made an appointment to get the shot the next day and was going to get an ecollar. Well, the vet tech took him back for the shot, and came out a little while later and said she cleaned it up and was concerned, so she was going to see if the doc could just prescribe the same meds as the last time this happened. So he did, and when my dog came out, his boo-boo was way bigger than I thought, and I was SO grateful the sweet vet tech went above and beyond. I thank her so much, and I thank Richmond Veterinary Clinic for their always wonderful service!

Staff very knowledgeable and friendly. They put my anxious dog at ease. Will be bringing my other dog there as well.

They were able to get my dog in the day I called, because of an emergency. The vet tech and doctor were very helpful and caring about my dog's issues. The doctor recommended a course of action which was concise and explained very well. I'm glad to be taking my dog to a veterinarian that really cares about my dog and how to help.

I’m a new client at Richmond Veterinary Clinic and had to wait a bit to get in as a new customer—but it was SO worth it! The vet and techs were amazing with my grumpy, clawing, hissing, growling. and snorting cat Twitch AKA the “Hiss Pig”, handling him with care and confidence when other clinics insisted on sedation (which I wasn’t comfortable with). Their patience and skill made all the difference, and I couldn’t be happier. Many vets are corporate machines pushing an agenda and unneeded services these days. Busy clinic, staff was nice and were able to get my pet in for an issue the developed. Vet was nice and techs were very gentle.

First time patient here. I've used other vets in the area before. But I've never received this level of care and passion anywhere else. 5 star from checking in, to the vet coming in, and to us leaving. It's very clear that all the staff deeply care for their patients.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the entire Richmond Vet team. They have always gone above and beyond for all my pets but more specifically, Ripley. They have always shown us love and compassion the minute we step in the door. They are extremely considerate and accommodating even if it’s last minute. Dr. Fox and Tina provided comfort to my girl until her last breath and for that I will be forever grateful. They listened, understood and supported us through the hard process of getting old and getting sick. They truly are a Godsend and we are blessed to have them in the good times and bad.
