Richmond Valley Veterinary Practice

We’ve been looking for a good vet since we moved here five years ago. the wait paid off Richmond Valley Vets is the perfect place for my senior dog Philomena. We walked Into a massive, clean and welcoming, waiting area with bench seating lining the walls so that your pet could easily sit with you. There was plenty of room so that the dogs didn’t have to be on top of each other and if the owners were so inclined could meet in the middle of the room. The staff were all friendly and interested in helping. Dr. Powell treated my Philly like an old friend she didn’t show any signs of being nervous around him or any of the staff When we were finished, Dr. Powell introduced Philly to Everyone who is there and told her to go home and have a great life. This is definitely the place I will be taking my dogs to as long as I’m in Staten Island.

The Doctors are great and highly professional. However, I can never receive my soap notes for the insurance reimbursement on a timely fashion. The girls always have some excuses and don't understand that it is a time sensitive matter. Insurance does not reimburse any payments after the certain time passed.

Dr.Powell is the best vet my family have ever gone to. He took care of my best friend Thor for 12 years and has always been honest with all animals we have brought into his care. He cares for the animals as well as the family. He views our animals as the family members they are, unlike some vets that tend to look at them as a way to just make money. All the staff is very friendly and welcoming and I appreciate all they do for our family and many others.
