Resler Animal Hospital

I've been bringing my pets to Dr. Resler for several years since we moved to the area, and with every visit I've lost more and more patience and respect for him as a vet. Reception and vet techs there have been wonderful! Everything else about the office is great. Dr. Resler however has been short and disrespectful with me on multiple occasions and always pushes unnecessary lab tests or treatments. I wanted a CBC on two occasions for animals I was concerned may have had an infection. He refused to do just a CBC and instead recommended $300+ blood panels to cover "anything and everything," including leukemia tests, telling me those tests are "the most bang for your buck." I think he means the most bang for HIS buck. I just needed to know if we should start antibiotics for an active infection. When I asked again for "just the CBC" he said let's just monitor and come back if there's a problem and immediately ended the exam. My cat was weighed and had a temp taken but otherwise went home with no further treatment or in depth examination. For perspective, I'm also a farmer and very familiar with vet procedures, labs, meds, etc. I know most of the standard processes in veterinary medicine and what to check before I even get there as we deal with vets a LOT. Dr. Resler treated me like I was a nut job and told me "if I won't let him treat my pets how he would like to treat them, then why am I even here?" As someone who cares about their pets, it's because I thought he'd offer reasonable care and testing. I will be switching vets.

We have been taking all of our cats here for years! Dr. Resler is amazing and so is the whole staff… including Franklin!

Dr Resler and his team are the best vet I've been to. The level of care that they've shown my pets over the last 12 yrs has been incredible. I highly recommend Dr Resler to everyone!

Dr Realer and his staff are wonderful, courteous and always have our pets in mind. They offer many services and sell many healthy treats and foods. They are very accommodating to our schedules.

Thank you for everything you did for Pablo over the 8 years we had him and treated him with kindness and always their for our family with questions. Without your guidence we would have had to say goodbye 3 years ago. You are all amazing and always go above and beyond.
