The Dr. needs to dumb it down a little when he's letting you know information on your pet. He was telling me about blood work that my dog had and I didn't understand a word. I had to ask him to explain all of it. He also needs to be a little more personable to the clients. The staff is always very friendly and caring. I love the twins that have been working there for a long time.

Welcome to Reilly Road Animal Hospital
Welcome to Reilly Road Animal Hospital, your local Pet Hospital situated at 695 S Reilly Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28314, USA. We understand that your pets are cherished members of your family, and their health and well-being are of utmost importance. Reilly Road Animal Hospital strives to provide comprehensive veterinary care to address a wide range of your pet's needs. While we aim to offer quality services, it's important to consider all aspects of a pet hospital, including customer experiences, to make the best choice for your furry companions.
As a Pet Hospital, Reilly Road Animal Hospital offers a variety of services that are typically expected from such a facility. These services generally include routine check-ups and wellness examinations, which are crucial for maintaining your pet's overall health and detecting potential issues early. Vaccinations, a cornerstone of preventive care, are usually administered to protect your pets from common and potentially serious diseases. For pets that require it, the hospital likely provides surgical services, ranging from routine procedures like spaying and neutering to more complex operations. Diagnostic services, such as blood work, are essential tools for understanding your pet's internal health and identifying underlying conditions. Additionally, the hospital may offer dental care to ensure your pet's oral hygiene is maintained, which is vital for their overall health.
Based on available information, the environment of Reilly Road Animal Hospital warrants careful consideration. One customer review mentions that the waiting area and rooms appeared to be dirty, suggesting that cleanliness might be an area needing improvement. A clean and sanitary environment is crucial in a Pet Hospital to prevent the spread of infections and ensure the comfort and safety of both pets and their owners. While another review praises the friendliness and caring nature of the staff, particularly mentioning "the twins," the cleanliness of the physical space is an important factor for many pet owners when choosing a veterinary care provider.
The services offered at Reilly Road Animal Hospital, as inferred from the reviews, include examinations and diagnostic procedures like blood work and ear cytology. However, one customer expressed concerns about the thoroughness of the examination, noting that a $60 exam did not include listening to the pet's heart or lungs, with this being limited to an ear examination. This raises questions about the comprehensiveness of the standard examination procedure. Furthermore, the review highlights additional costs for specific diagnostic tests and treatments, such as ear cytology and ear flushing. The recommendation of oral antibiotics for a yeast infection in the ear also raises a point of concern for the reviewer, who has a background in veterinary medicine.
Features of Reilly Road Animal Hospital, as perceived through customer feedback, include a friendly and caring staff. Positive interactions with the veterinary team can significantly contribute to a more comfortable and reassuring experience for both pet owners and their animals. The long-term presence of some staff members, like "the twins," can also suggest a degree of stability and familiarity within the practice, which some clients may find comforting. However, the perceived lack of thoroughness in the examination and the concerns about treatment recommendations and costs, as mentioned in one review, could be areas where the hospital's features might fall short for some pet owners.
Regarding promotional information, there is no specific promotional content available in the provided data. Typically, a Pet Hospital might offer introductory discounts for new clients, seasonal promotions for specific services like vaccinations or dental cleaning, or package deals for routine care. To learn about any current promotions at Reilly Road Animal Hospital, it would be best to contact them directly via phone at (910) 864-0606 or mobile phone at +1 910-864-0606.
In conclusion, Reilly Road Animal Hospital, as a local Pet Hospital in Fayetteville, NC, offers a range of veterinary services for your pets. While some customers have praised the friendly and caring staff, other feedback indicates potential areas for improvement, particularly concerning the thoroughness of examinations, treatment recommendations, costs, and the cleanliness of the facility. It is advisable for prospective clients to consider these different perspectives and perhaps contact the hospital directly to discuss their specific needs and concerns. Visiting the facility might also provide a firsthand impression of the environment and the overall quality of care provided. Making an informed decision about your pet's healthcare provider is crucial, and weighing all available information is a vital step in ensuring their well-being.

Jan 18, 2025 · PcPOver priced for the quality of care. While the staff was kind the visit was not thorough. The “exam” was $60 and the Vet didn’t even listen to her heart or lungs (only looked into her ears). Additional cost for ear cytology to diagnose bacteria vs yeast. Sure but when the results are yeast why recommend ORAL ANTIBIOTICS for a yeast infection? $21 for two assistants to “flush” (use 4x4 gauze to barely wipe out some debris) her ears when the bottle of ear wash costs less. $50 for ear ointment for both ears when only one is positive for yeast. Oh don’t forget the $5 medical waste disposal for the single needle used for a steroid injection. As someone who worked in Vet Med we need to be better, or charge accordingly to the service you provide. The waiting area and rooms are dirty. Throwing a mop around the floor at the end of the day is not enough to “clean” an animal clinic. Again the staff was pleasant but doesn’t compensate for the care / cost of treatment.
Mar 22, 2025 · Allyson HannaNever had a bad experience here. I appreciate the shot reminders. They don't text me anything but what's absolutely necessary. That in and of itself gets five stars.
Apr 25, 2025 · Pragmatic RealistI’ve took my cats here since they were only 8 weeks old they always answer what questions I have. They are also very patient with my cats Milo and Otis because they hate the vet a lot but the workers are still nice. I also just recently got them neutered here and they did an amazing job and supplied me with a good amount of pain meds. I Love this place and always will bring my cats.
Mar 06, 2025 · Yoitsjazzy VlogsI should have definitely read the reviews prior to taking my dog here. On the phone they tell me one price. I take my dog here to get a dental cleaning. I show up they ask me the age of my dog and they raise the price because he is older. I'm like ok I get that. The lady tells me if we have to take any of his teeth out it will $35 per tooth. I said ok can you please call me prior to pulling his teeth out. She tells yes we will. They call me and I didn't answer because I was in a class didn't hear the phone vibrate. I see the call and call back and no answer. They text me and when I tell them via text that I'm pissed because they pulled the dogs teeth out they call me. I'm like why did you pull the teeth out with my consent. Nobody had an answer all they could say is we only minutes to make that determination. Ok well if you only have minutes and you don't have permission and its not life threatening don't pull the teeth without permission. Simply in my mind. It will be the owners responsibility to then remove them later. The lady who told me that they would call me says we changed our policies this morning and I didn't know that we would pull them either way. Really? Walks past while I'm at the front and doesn't even give me an apology. They send out three nurses to talk to me. Never again will I take my dog here or recommend this place to anyone.
