Absolutely awful care and service all around. Every single time I've had to come there's a problem from ordering simple flea and tick treatment, doctors not being forthcoming with information, messing up vaccines, messages saying my dog is due for vaccines when they aren't and even after you complain they literally STILL can't get it together. Now I'll be switching vets because I simply do not have the time nor patience to explain to grown adults how to complete basic tasks. These complete idiots have cost me so much additional money, have made my dogs late for flea and tick treatment multiple times now and at no point has it been worth it to come here. Absolutely disgusted

We first went to Red Lion Vet a few years ago for a second opinion on our husky’s leg injury. It ended up saving of thousands of dollars and we decided to switch to them permanently because of the care and compassion they treated our animals with. They understand that these fur babies are apart of our family. They have great staff and it’s very clean. It didn’t smell either. I cannot articulate how amazing our experiences have been here.

Dr. Luke and his team are nothing less than amazing. He has done our dog’s TPLO surgery and most recently the splenectomy of our elderly baby, giving her more time to spend with us. Without the surgery she would have had to been put down due to the size of the mass on the spleen. He took the time to give us a second opinion for that surgery and guided us through the unique concerns with a 14 yo dog. He assured us that he would take all the measures to limit the time under anesthesia and allowed for us to be there when she was first administered the sedatives so if she didn’t make it through surgery, we had our last moments with her, in our arms. These humans are very special to us and you and your fur babies will receive the very best care from them.

This place actually does surgeries in a way that actually helps your pet. My Frenchie had a mysterious accident and chipped a bone. This particular bone chip was on an elbow five other veterinarians would not attempt this surgery and if they were to attempted, their prices were way out of reach. However, this particular veterinarian, RedLion veterinarian hospital they are truly professionals not only do they care for your animals. They care for the animal's owner they put you at ease definitely a cut above the rest.

My dog is a carrier for vWD1. I provided them with her breeders paperwork to verify this. They still wanted to do a gum nick test to see how fast she bled it was 40 dollars. Well, they took my dog back, told me to stay, came back 20 minutes later and said my dog tried to bite so they had to draw blood. I was appalled she isn’t a biter, but she was clearly scared they were going to hurt her in her mind. They didn’t even come to get me, I could’ve opened her mouth no problem at all. I was charged 287.00 for bloodwork without confirming with me prior… I’m leaving this office and asked for my dogs records, well I read them today and see since she tried to bite they muzzled her. They failed to tell me this part. It’s clear they’re not educated on vWD and I wish they would have just told me this upfront. Instead they ripped me off and want me to take her to a specialist because it seems the vet isn’t confident to spay her. She’s a carrier not affected and I’ve found a vet who is Knowledgeable about vWD. I am offended and upset waste of time and money. I am also disgusted how they handled my dog for her gum nick test, poorly done!
