What Our Clients Say:

  • "The team was great, Dr. Sill is so caring about her patience. They took loving care with Ginger."

Important Notes:

However, there are also serious concerns raised by other clients regarding the quality of care, communication, and billing practices:

  • "I’m honestly the most disappointed I’ve ever been with a service. I paid a very decent amount of money to get my dog a surgery on his neck, and to get him fixed. He had a large lump on his neck that I was concerned about deeply. They told me what it probably was and that it would get taken care of. Firstly his castration went HORRIBLY. He took weeks to heal from the surgery which I have never experienced with any of my pets. So much pain and I was basically forced to continually give him sedatives because he couldn’t move the whole time healing. They also missed a stitch when getting them removed, and the lump is still there. Not changing in size. I was concerned about this and called to see what to do, they told me to bring him back in and they would check him out. I specifically asked if there would be a charge, considering I paid a lot of money for a procedure that did nothing, and the lady on the phone said “no it’s a follow up”. So I bring him in and they remove the stitch they missed and did absolutely nothing else. The doctor did not put hands on him, and the appointment was less than 15 min including the wait. I’m under the impression that no payment is needed, considering their staff told me there wouldn’t be a fee for the appointment. I told the receptionist to have a merry Christmas and they told me the same and I walked out to my car and went to drive away. Then a lady who has worked there for three days, runs to my car looking bewildered that I didn’t make a payment, (again let me add, when I was told there wouldn’t be a charge) and demanding that we pay. I explained that I called and was told the visit would be taken care of and she refused to listen saying the doctor told her to come out and she’s only worked there for three days. We kinda went back and forth about it and I told her it wasn’t gonna happen. $80 for an appointment that did NOTHING was not gonna work for me. Like I said the doctor didn’t even touch him, the only reason they touched him at all was to remove a stitch THEY missed, which I was very kind about. Me and my husband were obviously irritated about this because we’ve spent so much money already. The brand new employee then goes inside and tells them she was verbally abused by us and they sent a letter saying we are no longer accepted as clients. Which is fine with me because we wouldn’t be going back either way. I just don’t think the way the situation was handled was appropriate or professional at all and I highly recommend looking for other veterinarian care. This review is unfortunate because there was staff there that I liked. (Ps: don’t trust them when they give you a quote it is rarely correct)"

All I can say is run run run and never take your animals here. The people that work here shouldn’t be allowed to treat animals let alone run a business in the town. They will lie to you about quotes, mis charge you, drug your dogs over and over, and then not even fix your issues. Can’t even remove stitches properly. Absolute disgrace to the pawpaw township and vets in general. And one of there new people has the audacity to run out in front of my car for an appointment that was already paid for, to try to charge me even more for a 5 minute visit, which they again, didn’t do as they specified. I will be reporting them. Again stay far away if you love your animals.

Gross negligence by Leslie at this vet. Due to inadequate training, a poor English bulldog died because she put a muzzle on him and heavily restrained him by putting all of her body weight on the dog for about 10 minutes straight during a routine checkup and shots. This is completely unacceptable when these are the people you trust for your pet's care.
