My elder min pin/pug mix has been seeing Drs Nikki, Key, AND Mitchell for the last few years for routine visits and kidney disease monitoring/treatment. All 3 have stepped up and helped during emergencies, confusing times, and standard care. But the staff has also shown incredible care. So much so that I could hear the techs cooing and calming my dog as she was anxiously fighting her last nail trim. We originally switched from another vet close by after feeling discarded and uncared for, and have had the best treatment under Ravenswood Animal Hospital. They've made me feel comfortable handing the tiny, 10-lb, love of my life over to their hands. No matter who it is in the clinic. Even with an impending move, I'll continue bringing my baby girl here.

Our recently adopted dog received heartworm treatment at Ravenwood Animal Hospital over the last few months. This is a very challenging treatment to go through and the veterinarians, technicians and staff at RAH took great care of our little dog. They thoroughly explained the treatment to us and checked up regularly on how our little dog was doing. We are so thankful for the expertise and compassion everyone at RAH provided to us and our dog! Thank you, RAH! It's no surprise that they are routinely voted as one of the top animal hospitals in the city!

I’ve been taking my dog, Gideon, here for the last 8 years. We see Dr. Marisa but have seen her partners for visits in a pinch and they have all been fantastic. The front desk staff are very responsive and friendly. The communication between staff is strong and it shows in the patient experience - when there are questions via email/phone that require a consult, for example. The techs have been great too - shout out to Lisa who was exceptional today and brought me a lot of comfort with her kindness and approach. Gideon has had a lot of fear around going to the vet from traumatic visits at other offices years ago and it’s certainly made me feel anxious - they are understanding and compassionate with everything they do. I am so grateful for the care they’ve provided to my older guy and the empathy they’ve extended to me in difficult moments. I have referred numerous friends to them over the years who have felt the same. I couldn’t recommend a better place to take care of your beloved pet.

My dog is at the age when she needs people who care for her and are gentle to her little frail body. Dr. Marisa and Dr. Niki are both so attentive and thorough and gentle with my senior puppy. Jess and Ava are amazing techs who are super knowledgeable and loving to their patients. The place overall is very comforting, warm and welcoming. I recommend Ravenswood Animal Hospital for all your needs for your fur baby!
