Im visiting from out of state and brought my dog in for emergency service at this clinic for acute symptom exacerbation. We saw Dr. Kim who was horrible. He walked into the exam room without introducing himself or inquiring about my dog's medical history including recent vet records. Rather he walked in the room stating how dangerous my dog's two new diagnoses are, listened to her heart and checked her gums and immediately said she needed to be hospitalized over night and that his clinic didn't do that. He came to this conclusion of overnight hospitalization without listening to me about recent events, signs and symptoms, checking diagnostic blood work, reviewing medical records or medications. He lacked interpersonal skills, customer service, and professionalism. I would highly discourage anyone from bringing an older pet with chronic disease here as they lack the capability of providing the as advertised emergency services.

Understanding the environment and the overall experience is crucial when choosing a veterinary care provider. While specific details about the clinic's ambiance, facilities, and equipment are not explicitly available in the provided information, we can infer some aspects based on general practices in the veterinary care industry and the limited customer feedback. Typically, a pet hospital environment strives to be clean, organized, and comfortable for both pets and their owners. Examination rooms are usually equipped with necessary diagnostic tools and examination tables. Depending on the scope of services offered, the facility might include areas for surgery, radiology, laboratory work, and potentially overnight stays for animals requiring hospitalization.

The services offered at Rancho Regional Veterinary likely encompass a range of medical and surgical care for pets. Based on the negative review mentioning "emergency service" and "overnight hospitalization," it suggests that the clinic may advertise or intend to provide emergency care. However, the reviewer's experience indicates a perceived lack of thoroughness in the initial assessment and the inability to provide overnight hospitalization at their facility. This discrepancy is a critical point to consider for pet owners seeking comprehensive emergency services.

Conversely, the positive review highlights a situation where the clinic demonstrated flexibility and understanding. Despite a scheduling misunderstanding, they accommodated the anxious pet owner and provided a consultation, even with the doctor attending to an emergency. Furthermore, they reportedly did not charge for a full visit due to the inconvenience. This suggests a degree of customer-centricity and a willingness to address unforeseen issues.

Dr. Kim is mentioned in the negative review, and the feedback points to concerns regarding his communication style, lack of introductory professionalism, and the speed at which a hospitalization recommendation was made without a comprehensive evaluation. The reviewer specifically advises caution for owners of older pets with chronic diseases, implying a perceived inadequacy in handling complex cases or providing thorough emergency assessments.

On the other hand, Owens Amanda DVM is part of the clinic's name, suggesting she is a key veterinary professional associated with the practice. However, no direct feedback is provided about her specifically in the given reviews. It is important to note that individual experiences can vary, and one negative review does not necessarily reflect the overall quality of care provided by all veterinarians at the clinic.

Considering the limited information, it's challenging to definitively outline the "features" of Rancho Regional Veterinary. However, based on the category of "Pet Hospital," we can generally expect features such as diagnostic capabilities (potentially including blood work, imaging like X-rays), treatment for illnesses and injuries, surgical procedures (ranging from routine to more complex), preventative care (like vaccinations and parasite control), and consultations on pet health and nutrition. The mention of emergency services, even with the negative experience, suggests this as a potential feature they aim to offer.

Regarding promotional information, none is explicitly provided in the given data. Typically, pet hospitals might promote services like wellness packages, seasonal specials (e.g., for flea and tick prevention), discounts for new clients, or specific health awareness campaigns. To obtain information on any current promotions or special offers, it would be best to contact Rancho Regional Veterinary directly using the provided phone numbers.

In summary, Rancho Regional Veterinary: Owens Amanda DVM is a pet hospital located in Rancho Cucamonga, California. While one customer review raises significant concerns about the emergency service assessment process and lack of overnight hospitalization, another highlights a positive experience with their customer service and willingness to accommodate a scheduling error. Potential local users should consider these contrasting experiences when evaluating their options for pet care. It is advisable to contact the clinic directly to inquire about their specific services, facilities, and the expertise of their veterinary staff, including Owens Amanda DVM, to make an informed decision based on their individual pet's needs. Further research and potentially seeking additional reviews from other sources might also be beneficial in forming a comprehensive understanding of the care provided at Rancho Regional Veterinary.

When choosing a pet hospital, factors beyond just location are crucial. Consider the range of services offered, the qualifications and experience of the veterinarians and staff, the clinic's operating hours (especially for emergency needs), the available facilities and equipment, and the overall communication and approach to patient care. It is always recommended to have a trusted veterinary provider who can offer consistent and reliable care for your pet's health and well-being. For local users in the Rancho Cucamonga area, reaching out to Rancho Regional Veterinary directly will provide the most current and detailed information about how they can meet your pet care needs.

Prospective clients may want to inquire about the typical procedures for emergency evaluations, the availability of overnight care or referral processes for such needs, and the protocols for communicating with pet owners about their animal's condition and treatment plan. Understanding these aspects can help ensure a comfortable and confident experience when entrusting your pet's health to a veterinary professional. Remember that building a strong relationship with your veterinarian is key to providing the best possible care for your furry companions.

Showed up, with my very anxious pup after sitting in traffic for 40 minutes to get there to find out when they told me Wednesday at 4, the meant the following Wednesday! But they managed to see him and go over everything with me even tho the Dr was with an emergency at the time. They were very pleasant and didn't even charge me for a full dr visit because of the circumstances.

It's always a pleasure to take my pets to Rancho Regional veterinary Hospital. All of the vets take their time to explain to you what's going on with your animal in thorough detail.
