I don't know what has happened here! This used to be a great vet. I had an appointment for MONTHS to have my puppies fixed. The receptionist called me at work and demanded that I complete an unrequired vaccination before they could preform the operation. This is not required by law. I was told it was the Dr.s policy. I explained I had decided not to do this vaccination as is allowed by law. I was treated rudely by this person who kept talking over me and wouldn't listen to what I was asking. Finally I asked to have the Dr. call me. I came home from work and got a email with my puppies records and telling me she had cancelled my appointment! Unacceptable! I called back and asked again to have the vet call me as I have questions about what was happening. Three days later, nothing. Completely unprofessional! I do not recommend this business to anyone. To be fair, I'm not even sure the Dr. is aware what has happened and he was always good to all 4 of the animals my family has brought there. Unfortunately, due to lack of attention and lack of service you have lost 3 customers due to this mishandling. I hope the front desk woman who seemed very happy with herself is happy. I hope her employer is too.

They are professional and kind, and their office is well run, always clean, and welcoming. So grateful that they are here! Update: after several years of great care, we had to put our pet down. The doctor and staff handled that with incredible sensitivity. An excellent and caring practice.
Dec 18, 2022 · KBMHHorrible front desk staff without basic phone manners. Can't get a call from vet when needed. If you like being ignored and tossed aside after going for years. Being forced to give your pets vaccinations that are not required because it's policy. Having appointments you made months ago. Canceled 2 weeks before. Then you might be happy here. This is definitely not the same practice I came to when I first started coming here. I would no longer recommend going here.

Queen City Animal Hospital is Fantastic. We have been going there for few years. Always straight forward and professional. The whole staff seems to genuinely care about both our cat and dog. I do not hesitate to recommend them.
Jun 13, 2021 · JM FLTerrible staff. They will put your pets on "specialty vet Rx food" and then gatekeep the prescription behind unnecessary and costly checkups. When you call them out on this - they bar you and your pet from being seen and services. Used to love them years ago because of a vet that's no longer even with this practice. Wouldn't recommend them to anyone now. To further clarify. I had submitted a purchase via a local pet store for my cat's prescription food. The pet store called me and said the vet's office denied the prescription. I called the vet's office and they said that they wanted him in for a checkup, and after I scheduled with them then and there, that they would call the pet shop back to complete the order so he wouldn't go without food. They lied, denied the order with the pet store again and were going to leave my cat without his prescription until after the checkup which was going to leave him days without the food he was on. I had to speak with another local vet who told me that the insanely expensive prescription food they had him on and were holding his prescription hostage for was the exact same as another brand and type I didn't need the prescription for. Obviously, I felt like between them trying to force an unnecessary visit and the cost of the prescription they made it seem like he could only have, they were diving into my wallet, and placing my cat under unnecessary stress with visits he in fact, did not need. We have brought him to another vet in Londonderry, along with our two other pets who is up front. Not wallet gouging. And doesn't line you up for unnecessary appointments or hold prescriptions hostage.
