Recently went in because my cat was coughing. They charged me $800 for the vet visit plus another $200 for a prescription drug for my cat. Not once did they ask me anything about my cat like diet, or type of cat litter. They set me up with a recuring prescription. Went to another vet and found out that Purdy had completely misdiagnosed my cat and had him on very expensive unnecessary prescription drugs. I was told when I made the appointment it would be $125. They asked if that was ok and I said yes, I then leave with a $800 bill. I expressed my concerns to them hoping they would make it right but its been over a week now and I have not heard anything else from this office. I can see from other comments they got bought out by a different company. Makes sense why this place went down hill so fast. I will never trust them with my animals life or my wallet again. UPDATE: Apparently you are not saddened by my review because prior to making the review I made contact with your office in order to make this right and you did not follow up like you said you would. I see your more willing to take people's money than make things right. If I recieved a call and was refunded for part of this horrible visit than I wouldn't be making a this review, so don't tell me your saddened by this when you had multiple opportunities to make it right.

I will not come back to this veterinary clinic again. If there is a 0 star option I will choose that. My experience was very unpleasant. There is no accountability, poor communication skills, lacking of integrity, dedication and empathy. I was going here for two years in a row and didn’t have any problems till today. My fur baby is scheduled for his yearly wellness exam. He was uncooperative and the vet assistant Libby, told us ( me, husband and adult son) to reschedule another appointment with the sedating medicines. She specifically said we will not be charged. She said we can try to put the muzzle and go back door to see the vet and we will be charged. We tried to put the muzzle but we opted to reschedule and use the sedating pills. Our dog never saw the vet. The doctor didn’t even come out and talk to us. When I check out they let me pay for the service with $10 dollars off. It was inconsistent to what we were told NO CHARGE. I demanded the see the doctor, apparently it was Cynthia Pope. But she NEVER showed up at all. That was very unprofessional. Libby, came down explaining her reasons which was inconsistent to what was told earlier. I honestly don’t mind paying as long as we saw the doctor and explained to us what’s going on. The two ladies at the registration are nice and approachable though. It was a one off situation but I felt not comfortable coming here anymore. Integrity is important to me.

Vet was recently bought out by a private equity firm. Ever since then the best vets left and seems to be a revolving door of vets now. They have a new rule of needing an annual before any shots so they told me he would need multiple annuals before his routine shots. Classic private equity move to squeeze every dollar out of loyal customers. On top of all this, at the last vet visit they gave my dog the wrong vaccines. Purdy vet 2 years ago was amazing. The new purdy vet is awful
