Priority Pet Hospital

Our first experience with Priority Pet Hospital was wonderful! My dog has always been scared and shaking at vets, but she was so much calmer and happy at Priority (the treats and peanut butter definitely help). Dr. Burns and her team were so patient, gentle, and sweet with my dog. They answered all my questions and never made us feel rushed during our visit. I’m so relieved we found a great vet office!

From the initial phone call, to the greeting at the door, they were a great team all together. Stephanie was great with our Jax and couldn’t be more pleased! They are our new pet vet forever!

Dr Burns has been treating our dogs for over 10 years and we can say, without a doubt, that she is one of the best vets we have had. Additionally, her entire staff has always been kind, responsive and accommodating.

We have been going to Priority Pet Hospital for over a year now. It’s so easy to make an appointment and I have never experienced an instance where I couldn’t make an appointment the same week. They are so great with our two dogs and always take such great care of them. The prices are affordable. The staff and doctors are friendly and knowledgeable. I have nothing but amazing words to describe Priority Pet Hospital and 100% recommend them to anyone in the area.

I brought my dog here for 6 years. She started having seizures and the vet put her on phenobarbital. It wasn’t until I switched vets that I knew her phenobarbital was causing toxicity in her body and the dose she was on was way too much for her. The new vet found out by suggesting a liver level test, priority pet hospital never suggested that test but always pushed for a dental cleaning. Also, why I switched vets was because they kept blowing out my Pomeranians veins and the last visit they blew out 3 of her veins and called me the next day to tell me they didn’t get enough blood…. They were checking her liver levels every 3 months and said even though her liver levels were doubled and kept rising, it was fine. Never mentioned any other tests, like the liver level test. The main owner Dr. Burns I saw her in the beginning and she was good and informative, I did not have any issues. She also neutered my male and no issues. I’m just disappointed in them. But, just be cautious because this could have ended badly for my dog and I had no idea. The new vet said my pom was close to having to be hospitalized, her liver was that bad!!! Just glad we found out in time!!!! I also called Priority shortly after this test to see if they offered it and the girl that answered the phone could not even tell me. I’m just glad I made the switch and saved my baby.
