Jan 06, 2025 · Carherine RossIt's a sad story for me. We had to put one of our dogs down. She had developed cancer and it dominated her belly and back. We brought her in and they were very understanding and sympathetic. They first gave her an injection to make her relax and then left us to spend as much time as we needed. After about 20 minutes we pressed the button to inform the doctor we were ready and they came in and administered the final injection. She fought to the end but finally she left us. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy but I know we did the correct thing. But they were extremely sympathetic and I know she's not in pain anymore. The price for the time, the injections, and the cremation (including the urn) was very reasonable.
Oct 06, 2024 · Robert SimpsonI don’t know where to start. We had an Akita. He went undiagnosed and was finally correctly diagnosed with a tumor by Dr Sheerer. We got King Charles Cavalier puppy in December. He had parasites, and it took quite some time for them to get it under control. At one appt, they told us his kidneys were enlarged, and referred us to The Care Center in Cincinnati. The Doctor there, looked at the ultrasound and said there was nothing wrong with his kidneys. This was $1,200 later. We had about a month ago, brought Charlie in to be dropped off and checked. When I got there, I called the front desk, to let them know I had Charlie there. I was told I could bring him in, when I did, a lady with a huge Rottweiler or some other large breed, tried to attack Charlie in my arms. It was terrifying for my puppy and for me. My puppy had been having an exceptional amount of blood in his stool and extreme amount of diarrhea. He was already anemic. They kept him for about 4 hours. When they called to say to pick him up, the only thing they had gave him, was something for nausea. They said it was probably just an upset tummy. He probably something that didn’t agree with him. 3 days later, he was no better. I called and let them know. I was told since I don’t have trust in the Doctor’s treatment, I could just go somewhere else. I reminded them that they did not do ANY treatment. I let them know I would be taking him somewhere else. That Friday, we took him to Oxford Veterinary Hospital and they ran test and changed his food. He’s been doing much better!I I would also like to add that at one point Dr Freshwater, told us that our dog looked like an alien, because of his long legs. This was offensive and very unprofessional. Going to the office we attend now, we know how he should be treated and what great level of care looks like. We have since received a certified letter dismissing us from the practice. This was not necessary , considering we had his records transferred and told them we would not be back. Anyway, please be warned and know what we went through. Trying to save anyone we can, the hassle and headache. Your pet is worth so much more! They are family!!
Jul 05, 2024 · Wolf LoverPrices Creek is great. Everyone on staff is very helpful. They explain everything in detail & don't make you feel as though they're rushing. They were the 3rd vet that I visited while trying to find someone to do a neuter on my massive dog, whose procedure wouldn't be routine. I chose Prices Creek based on their expertise, how they interacted with my dog, and the fact that they didn't add a bunch of fees on top of what I would already be paying. I highly recommend this country vet for all of your pet needs.
Jul 23, 2022 · mary monty montgomeryDr. Sheerer is the best. She’s compassionate and caring but honest. She has cared for my horses for many years and now all my pets see her. She’s a true blessing in good times and bad as well.
