Truly outstanding level of care from the team. We switched from another local and well-regarded vet practice who couldn’t properly diagnose what turned out to be an adrenal gland disorder in our GSD. We wanted a second opinion, they suggested and ran the right tests and we were able to get our dog on the right medications. She had 18mo+ of high quality life. It would have been a death sentence with the guys on strawberry hill. They have unimpeachable technical and pathological acumen as well as excellent bedside manner for those harder discussions.

What truly sets Preventive Veterinary Medicine Clinic apart are its distinctive features, particularly its "unimpeachable technical and pathological acumen" combined with an "excellent bedside manner for those harder discussions." This is clearly demonstrated by a client's experience with their German Shepherd Dog (GSD) who had an undiagnosed adrenal gland disorder. After switching from another "well-regarded vet practice" that couldn't properly diagnose the issue, PVMC "suggested and ran the right tests and we were able to get our dog on the right medications." This precise and accurate diagnosis led to "18mo+ of high quality life" for the dog, highlighting the clinic's superior diagnostic capabilities and problem-solving skills, literally turning a "death sentence" into extended quality of life.

The addition of Dr. Altobelli to the team is also highlighted positively, with a client noting she is "a great addition to the already wonderful, caring staff," and that their dog, River, "loves it there." This emphasizes the consistent quality of the veterinary team and their ability to connect with animals, fostering a positive experience even for routine visits. The staff's thoroughness and willingness to go beyond surface-level symptoms to find the root cause of an illness is a crucial feature that distinguishes them.

The clinic's commitment to treating patients "like our own pets!" is a guiding principle that permeates their operations. This empathetic approach, coupled with their diagnostic precision and effective treatment protocols, builds immense trust with pet owners. The focus on educating clients on preventive care and treatment options also empowers pet owners to be active participants in their pets' health journey. Their long-standing presence since 1983 further attests to their consistent quality and reliability in the community.

In terms of promotional information, Preventive Veterinary Medicine Clinic's strongest asset is its proven track record of accurate diagnoses and successful treatments, as evidenced by powerful client testimonials. Being an AAHA-accredited hospital is a significant promotional point, assuring clients of high standards in veterinary care. While specific time-limited promotional offers should be confirmed by contacting the clinic directly, they do offer a "complimentary first wellness exam for pets adopted from shelters or rescues," which is a wonderful incentive for new pet parents and a testament to their commitment to animal welfare. They also provide online forms to streamline the check-in process for new clients and have an online pharmacy for convenient access to medications and food. Their commitment to treating pets like family, combined with their technical expertise and compassionate bedside manner, are their most compelling promotional messages. Prospective clients in Pepperell and the surrounding towns are encouraged to visit their website or call (978) 622-0483 to schedule an appointment and experience the high-quality, empathetic care that has made Preventive Veterinary Medicine Clinic a trusted name in local pet health for over four decades.

Our family is beyond pleased with the entire crew. We brought our baby boy in not knowing what to expect. He wasn't himself and we knew something was up. Dr Stebbins and the girls took amazing care of Yeti. She did EVERYTHING in her power to help him. A couple of weeks of treatment and constant care. Honestly some human hospital are not this good. We unfortunately had to let him go. When that time came, it was as nice as anyone could ask. She was so professional. She gave us as much time as we needed to say good bye. We can not speak highly enough about our vet. Everyone there treats your animal as if it was their own. We are so grateful of everything they did for us.

Dr Stebbins and her team at PVMC took such good care of my 12 year old puppy (ahem, dog)! He was having bladder stones and was at high risk for complications and the need for emergency surgery. Our old vet gave us a negative prognosis overall. I went to Dr Stebbins for a second opinion and to explore surgery and she was thorough, patient, and curious about all his relevant symptoms and potential causes for his issues. She was supportive and pragmatic at the same time. AND she did a fabulous job with the stone removal surgery at a reasonable price. My dog acts like a puppy again and I am so grateful to have sought her wisdom and skills! Other bonuses: easy to book an appointment, friendly and helpful staff, very welcoming environment. Highly recommend!
