Everyone at Premier took great care of my dog - she needed x-rays and bloodwork so they had her in the exam room alone for quite some time and she came out looking comfortable and wagging her tail. Doctor and staff took time to answer my questions and explain everything to me in detail. Our total time spent/waiting time was long, but just because it was a high traffic day. Will go back again if we have another emergency!

Jan 06, 2025 · Miken TrogdonFollow up with the neurologist here for our doggo’s ongoing seizures. But recently spent the night in the ER due to some clusters, which made me nervous since we never had her not with us or a family member before. We were able to call and visit anytime, and they were great at updating us on their own before the end of every shift. The doctor was great and her overnight nurse Keri was so sweet and helpful.
Jan 03, 2025 · Erin BeuggerI’m so happy and impressed with Premier that I asked if they had regular vet service at the Belmont facility unfortunately they don’t. Every person that works at Premier is compassionate, kind, and polite From a phone call to when you go into the facility. The facility is very clean. But the staff surpasses your expectations. They really are the best.! The other day was my second time taking one of my pups to premiere and once again they treated my dog without extremely expensive tests in order to save me money, but they still were able to diagnose and treat both of my dogs each time. I love this place!
Dec 07, 2024 · Linda HatyinaMy dog has been to Premier Vet Group 3x this year, I definitely recommend. Their staff is extremely kind and intelligent, they take great care of our little old dog. As far as ER vets go, the environment is very orderly and calm. Hopefully we don’t need anymore emergency care, but if we do we will be returning to PVG.
Aug 26, 2024 · Amanda McVickerWe recently had a scare around midnight with our dog, so our regular vet wasn’t open of course. In my neighborhood Facebook group I saw tons of great things about Premier on Belmont, and it was decently close to us, so that’s where we chose to go. I obviously hope I never have to go again, but I wouldn’t hesitate to go right back to Premier if an emergency happens. Thankfully our pup seems to be okay and we have no idea what happened (off balance and lethargic), but the reason I’m so happy with them is because my dog was obviously scared and growled at the nurse when she went to check his vitals. I don’t think he’s ever growled at anything aside from toys when he’s playing with them. It surprised us and just added to my own stress. I was so scared for the nurse (he’s an 80 pound dog, so he could do some damage if he wanted to) and scared for him. She asked if we’d be okay muzzling him and I told her that we’d do whatever they need but that we’ve never tried that before. He just has the sweetest demeanor, even at the vet normally, that it’s never crossed our minds to need to do that. She said “well let me just take him and back and see if he does better because he may just be protective of you guys” and she was totally right. Once she had his leash he just trotted along beside her with no issues. Apparently he did fine for her in back, and then again for the vet. I’m so grateful she tried that before having us muzzle him. I do understand that muzzling is perfectly normal, and now see why I may want to muzzle train just in case, but it would have just added to my stress that night, and his too I’m sure. I’m just really grateful they were willing to work with him like that! I also felt the $225 exam fee was very reasonable for an emergency. I expected worse. We had to wait a couple hours to see the vet because she had just stepped into a procedure of some kind for another poor animal, and during that time, our dog got much, much better so we opted not to do the extra testing and make an appointment with our vet, but for emergency services the estimates seemed reasonable, which is always helpful because we all just want the best for our animals but I think most of us don’t have tons of extra money, especially in emergency situations.
