Pomona Park Animal Urgent Care

We brought in my 14 year old cat last night after she suddenly began having concerning symptoms. A more critical patient came in at the same time and was seen first, which was totally understandable. The doctor and nurse were quick, kind, and helped lay out various options with an estimate. We appreciated that we didn’t feel rushed out despite being almost closing time. So glad to have this resource in our area and grateful our kitty is doing much better today after a couple doses of antibiotic and pain meds. Thank you!! I had Dr. B as my vet for years when she was at VCA Allendale. She's absolutely wonderful. Today, however, I had a different vet and I can't recall her name (so sorry!). She was friendly, professional, and forthcoming with our senior girl's diagnosis (dislocated hip from our large breed puppy bopping her with a paw), and worked really hard to get the leg set and wrapped. The wait was a bit longer than we expected, but that was no one's fault as the hip joint popped back out after the first attempt at setting it. Overall, we were pleased with the service and staff. This is a great option for those who have emergent issues that may not be worth a trip to the ER.

The nicest people their compassion and care just shows. If they weren’t so far away they would be my primary veterinarian. The staff were awesome!! Thank you for caring about this little girl we found thanks to you she will grow and have a good life. We love her already

We brought our beloved Sally here to be euthanized - the care she received and the courtesy and kindness shown to us, and Sally, was some of the best! Making a difficult transition bearable and serene. Many thanks to everyone at Pamona Park Animal Urgent Care that help ease Sally from pain and sorrow over the rainbow bridge.

It was just a ear infection, but is a nine-year-old 75 pound husky and I’m 71 year old big guy with a walker and things are not simple. Not living here, long enough to established a relationship with A family vet I started calling around. Pomona was recommended to me by two or three places, but they don’t open till the Afternoon. So I decided to wait when I called it was all laid out. Like call ahead seating at Olive Garden. I was game So I’ll try it. Go online and fill out the form do it correctly. Text when to get ready. Plenty of warning. So off we went. So Bear, the husky who is the sweetest pie, doesn’t really care for vets. But the vet d to care for him. A few treats a few tricks, some warm pads and kind words. Poop they got a medicine and they send us home less than an hour and a half from the original call. Great people very friendly. Easy to get to clean need facility. Nice size rooms. The whole place was perfect not just good but perfect. Time and care for Bear
