Polo Park Animal Hospital

Was not pleased with attitude and level of care at my previous vet so I reviewed on line posts and tried polo park WHAT A FANTASTIC DECISION. from Kim at the front desk who got my appointment moved up to the care and genuine empathy for my 11 year old boxer I am hooked They even called the next day to see how she was doing !! I guess the bar was set pretty low with my previous vet but I am a patient for life!!

This is more than a vet, it is a team of people who really care about the wellbeing of your animals. Dr. Jones and his team were extremely helpful in one of the most difficult times after finding out my dog had been diagnosed with kidney disease. I would highly recommend this place to any of my friends and/or family.

TLDR The front desk staff is very rude, will ignore clients, and gossip about clients. LONG VERSION We just moved to the four corners areas, and I needed a good vet and was recommended to Polo park. I made a mistake by not looking into them or checking reviews before booking my appts. I took my senior dog in due to constant UTIs. Our first appt dr did ultrasound and prescribed 5 days worth of antibiotics. He told me on our follow up that I wouldn’t be charged for the ultrasound (I was charged for it). When the UTI returned within a week, he prescribed more antibiotics (upon my request). I wouldn’t mind remaining at this vet, but I won’t due to the front desk staff. They make us feel so little because my dog doesn’t get along with cats (and they have cats hanging out everywhere in the lobby), and are not very accommodating that she is scared of other dogs because she’s been attacked. They will also completely ignore you mid conversation to play with their cats. And after reading many reviews about the dr and staff, I’m making a very good choice.

Wonderful staff and quality care for my dog. There are cats in the waiting room so be prepared for them when you first walk in with your pet. They are normally just quietly sitting around, like cats often do, but wanted to mention it in case your pet will be on a leash and will get anxious around cats. Prices are reasonable and I never had to wait long once I got there.

I take my two Cocker Spaniels here for everything that need to be done with them. Very nice and attentive location with wonderful staff. Dr. Jones is a great vet with the many times we have seen him, love his knowledgeable explanations of everything. My cocker Spaniels love the staff and actually like going to the vet.
