We had a great experience with this clinic. They were quick, efficient, and really helpful in getting our dog’s international travel certificate sorted out. The whole process was smooth, and they got everything done fast without any issues. The staff were friendly enough—not overly warm, but professional and polite, which is all we needed. What really stood out was how efficient they were. Dealing with travel documents for pets can be a headache, but they clearly knew what they were doing and made it easy for us. If you need a clinic that gets the job done without any fuss, this is a great option. They made a potentially stressful process simple and straightforward. Would definitely recommend them!

Welcome to Point Marion Veterinary Care

Welcome to Point Marion Veterinary Care, a Pet Hospital located at 863 New Geneva Road, Point Marion, PA 15474, USA. Based on customer feedback, this clinic is recognized for its efficiency and professionalism, particularly in handling specific needs such as international pet travel certificates. For local users seeking a veterinary practice that can process certain procedures quickly and effectively, Point Marion Veterinary Care presents itself as a viable option. However, it is important to note that one recent review raises concerns regarding customer service interactions.

Information regarding the specific details of the clinic's environment is limited in the provided reviews. However, the description of the staff as "professional and polite" suggests a standard clinical setting focused on delivering veterinary services. One positive review highlights the clinic's efficiency in processing paperwork, implying an organized and streamlined operational environment. Conversely, the negative review does not comment on the physical environment but focuses on an interaction with a staff member. Overall, it is reasonable to expect a functional and adequately equipped space for examinations, treatments, and administrative tasks related to pet care.

A key feature of Point Marion Veterinary Care, as highlighted by some customers, is its efficiency and professionalism. They are specifically praised for their speed and helpfulness in managing complex processes like obtaining international travel certificates for pets. The staff involved in this aspect of their service are described as knowledgeable and capable of making potentially stressful situations simple and straightforward. This suggests a team that is well-versed in specific regulatory requirements and can execute them effectively. However, a contrasting review points out a significant customer service issue with a staff member named Tiffany, indicating a potential inconsistency in the overall client experience.

Based on the experiences shared in the customer reviews, Point Marion Veterinary Care offers at least the following veterinary services:

  • International Pet Travel Certificate Processing: This appears to be a specialized service where the clinic demonstrates efficiency and expertise in navigating the necessary regulations and paperwork for pets traveling internationally.
  • General Veterinary Care: While not explicitly detailed, the fact that the clinic has been used by a family for over 40 years suggests they provide a range of general veterinary services to address the health needs of pets in the community. This would typically include examinations, vaccinations, and treatment of various conditions.

Given the limited scope of the positive reviews regarding specific medical services, it is reasonable to infer that Point Marion Veterinary Care likely offers other standard services expected from a Pet Hospital, such as:

  • Routine Checkups and Wellness Exams: Essential for preventative care and early detection of health issues.
  • Vaccinations: To protect pets from preventable diseases.
  • Parasite Prevention and Control: Advice and products for managing fleas, ticks, heartworms, and other parasites.
  • Dental Care: Including routine cleanings and treatment of dental problems.
  • Diagnostic Services: Such as laboratory tests and imaging to aid in diagnosis.
  • Treatment of Illnesses and Injuries: Medical and potentially surgical interventions for various health conditions.
  • Surgical Procedures: Ranging from routine spays and neuters to other necessary surgeries.

However, the negative review raises a significant concern regarding customer service. A long-term customer of over 40 years experienced what they perceived as rude and inflexible treatment from a staff member when trying to reschedule an appointment due to family circumstances. This interaction led to a demand for prepayment and a feeling of being unvalued as a customer, ultimately causing the family to seek veterinary care elsewhere. This incident suggests a potential issue with customer service protocols or individual staff interactions that prospective clients should be aware of.

The provided information does not contain any details about specific promotional offers or goods for sale at Point Marion Veterinary Care. However, as a functioning veterinary clinic, it is likely that they offer or provide access to necessary pet-related products and services, such as:

  • Prescription Medications: To treat various health conditions.
  • Preventative Medications: For fleas, ticks, and heartworms.
  • Veterinary Diets: Specialized food for pets with specific health needs.
  • Nutritional Supplements: As recommended by the veterinarians.
  • Basic Pet Care Products: Such as dental care items or other health-related supplies.

To obtain more detailed information about the full range of services offered, specific pricing, available products, and any current promotions, it is best to contact Point Marion Veterinary Care directly at (724) 725-9787 or +1 724-725-9787. Local users may also want to inquire about their appointment policies and customer service protocols based on the recent negative feedback.

In conclusion, Point Marion Veterinary Care in Point Marion, PA, appears to be an efficient Pet Hospital, particularly noted for its handling of international pet travel certificates. While some customers have appreciated their speed and professionalism, a recent review highlights a significant concern regarding customer service interactions. Prospective clients may find their efficiency in certain administrative tasks beneficial but should be aware of the potential for inconsistent customer service experiences. It is recommended to contact the clinic directly for detailed information about their services and policies.

My family had used point Marion Vet for over 40 years. We never had a problem until we recently had to deal with Tiffany. We tried to book another appointment for our cat Angel after we had to cancel 2 appointments the week prior due to tragic circumstances in our family. (We have cancelled v5 appointments in 44 years at their clinic). Tiffany gave us hell for cancelling the week prior and then demanded we pay a healthy deposit over the phone to be able to book the appointment. She did not care to even consider our circumstances that led to that , nor did she care that we paid them around 1600 for a surgery for the same cat a few months ago. Nor did she care we have been coming there for over 40 years despite living 45 minutes from their location .She made that very clear with her sharp words and cold tone. Finally, when questioned why we have never had to pre pay in advance , she blamed it on the rules created by her superiors at the clinic. Unfortunately this is the type of customer service that has become all too common these days..A customer means nothing to the lady at the desk taking the call. She is just putting in time, not effort. And when push comes to shove , she blames the vets for the company policy. Fortunately their are vets everywhere and we found one 7 minutes from our home and we were able to book an appointment the same day without having the pre pay nonsense that Tiffany is demanding out of Point Marion vet customers. Unfortunately , in cases like this the person who suffers the most from her being difficult is the cat.

This is my 3rd time with Point Marion Vet and I am very pleased. They are all so kind snd compassionate and it's easy and convenient to schedule. My first encounter was our newly adopted Shitzu that needed hernia surgery they were awesome. Second time I had 2 stray cats that needed spayed and again wonderful service and most recently my baby of 15 years has possible cushings. Everyone is so nice. I really like Tiffany. She explained all our options.
