I can’t thank the team at Pleasant Lake enough. My beautiful old lady Flora passed away a few months ago after living with kidney failure for about a year, and the staff were always so kind to the both of us. Dr. Farrell was always so gentle with Flora, I’m so glad I had her help with Flora’s end of life care. It was easy to make appointments on short notice if necessary, and I rarely had to wait more than a few minutes in the waiting room. The front desk staff is always nice too. Thank you for taking such good care of my girl.

Oct 03, 2022 · Jordan LongWe won't share the details of what happened for our pet here but the pattern is the same as the other unhappy reviews. The previous owner, Mona, was a wonderful doctor who truly cared about her patients. She was knowledgeable, respectful and told the truth. Her office notes were truthful and thorough. She followed the law by going over costs with us before treating. When examining our pet, she actually spent time doing so. When our pets were treated, she allowed us to remain in the room with them and she did not take them into a back room. According to the American Veterinary Medical Assoc "If there is no ongoing medical or surgical condition, veterinarians may terminate a veterinarian- client-patient relationship by notifying the client that they no longer wish to serve that patient and client. If there is an ongoing medical or surgical condition, the patient shall be referred to another veterinarian for diagnosis, care, and treatment. The former attending veterinarian shall continue to provide care, as needed, during the transition". We looked up the license of the doctor who owns this practice and discovered that there has been a previous board action against him. I cannot post the link here but go to New Hampshire licensing bureau and look up the name of the doctor who owns the business and the violation is summarized along with disciplinary action.
Sep 03, 2024 · Smith Brook HollowPleasant Valley staff were so kind and patient with our dog who dislikes going to the vet. Dr Sileo was very informative and helped us work through our concerns. We really appreciated how thorough the education was and walked away feeling much more at ease. Grateful we found this office!
May 14, 2024 · Amanda FI know there are a lot of dogs that are scared of the veterinarian, but my dog LOVES going to Pleasant Lake Vet. He cannot wait to get out of the car and runs right in there to be greeted and pet by the staff. He can be overwhelming to other pets because he's a little rambunctious and they are great about letting us know when the coast is clear in the waiting room. I've never had any trouble getting an appointment for unexpected emergencies, they always seem to fit him in. Tim Sileo is an incredibly gentle and kind vet, even when he has to do stuff my dog absolutely hates (touching his ears). Lucky to have such great veterinary care so close by!
