As a first-time horse owner, I was initially hesitant about taking my horse to Plantation Animal Center after reading some negative reviews. I was worried that I wouldn’t receive the level of care I was hoping for, especially given the busy holiday season. But I am so glad I went ahead with my decision. Dr. Lancaster was absolutely incredible. From the moment she arrived, it was clear that she was not only highly knowledgeable but also deeply passionate about her work. She took the time to explain everything to me in detail, ensuring I understood every aspect of my horse's care. What stood out to me was her respect for my decisions—she asked multiple times for my permission before proceeding with any sedation, which I found to be a rare and reassuring level of care. Her attention to detail and the thoroughness of her instructions gave me peace of mind. I was also pleasantly surprised by how well they managed scheduling. Despite the busy holiday season, Dr. Lancaster was able to fit me in without any issues. Both receptionists were wonderful, assisting with paperwork in a smooth, hassle-free way. I came in a bit anxious, but the professionalism, care, and dedication of the entire team quickly put those fears to rest. The experience has left me confident in their abilities, and I wholeheartedly recommend Plantation Animal Center to anyone seeking high-quality veterinary care for their animals. Don’t let negative reviews sway you—this was an excellent experience for both me and my horse, and I will definitely be returning for future care.

Dr. Cindy Brown is an absolute best vet. She has been our vet for 14 years. She treated our White Shepherd Skyro and now out little Labradoodle Reagan. They both loved her. She is very knowledgeable and very down to earth. She explains treatments and issues in understandable language. She has a great bedside manner. Love Dr. Brown

We've been using plantation centre for years now. Dr. Brown is an amazing and caring Dr. We take our snakes there. All of the staff are amazing, understandable, very passionate about their patients. They really do treat you like family. As of now, I've had to take one of our oldest and my dearest snake Lucie. Her and her team has done everything that they can do, even ereaching out several vet specialists and surgeons in the surrounding states... But unfortunately, there is nothing anyone can do, so in the morning 10/10/202 @8am, we will be forced to say goodbye to to my sweetheart, Lucie 🐍💔

Always have a great experience when visiting plantation center animal hospital. Recently had a large litter of Pomeranian puppies. The mother did not seem to have enough milk to accommodate all puppies. Dr Fyhe was so incredibly helpful. He went out of his way to make sure the mother Candace had everything she needed to supplement her puppies. This is an outstanding place when it comes to professionalism and integrity. You can count on each one of the veterinarians, techs and staff.

Front desk staff is very polite. However, I am disappointed in our visit with Dr. Lancaster. We usually see another vet but he could not get my dog in for weeks and he is in pain. My mother had to take my dog for his appointment as I work late. My pet's appointment was for 4:30. Dr. Lancaster rushed the appointment and was very snarky with my mother. As my mother answered the Dr.'s questions about my dog's back pain, (what we have been told by other vets) she snapped back about it "not being a proper diagnosis", and "not even knowing what medicine that is" after looking at his prescription bottles. She went on to make my mother feel as if she was stupid for trusting in another vet's work, while bashing this other vet's name and how they operate. Very unprofessional in my opinion. She also kept telling my mom she needs his full chart of medical records, which was not made clear to me over the phone when booking the appointment. I was not told they need his ENTIRE medical chart of history. My mom proceeded to call the other vet herself and get the full chart sent to her, but as she went to show Dr. Lancaster, she rudely looked away and said my mom will just have to send it to her email for her to look over "when she has time" and then proceeded to walk out. And price wise, it was nearly $300 just for routine shots, exam, and a 24-hour shot for pain. Would be another $500 to drop him off for a workup on his pain issue. Overall she showed little to no compassion for my pet, and did not respect our time that we are paying for the appointment. I understand everyone has long days and wants to go home, but that gives no excuse to push off your clients and make snarky remarks to them. We will not be returning.
