I was told by my local veterinarian the next step for our dog was a test in Madison for $3,000 or have her put to sleep. They didnt allow anyone in their office due to Covid. I asked the woman as I'm crying, can I at least come in with her and they said no. This dog has been a close friend of mine for years. I don't know why but Dr Piper's name popped into my head. I called him and when he heard he got me right in. When he saw our beautiful Bella he said this dog isn't at the end of life. I knew then that he would take the wheel for awhile and we could relax. I'm not exaggerating when I say, Bella was running and playing with her toys within 3 days. Bella is a Schipperke.

Welcome to Piper Veterinary Clinic
Welcome to the local introduction of Piper Veterinary Clinic, a long-standing and highly regarded establishment within the Pet Hospital category, located at 735 S Main St, Viroqua, WI 54665, USA. Piper Veterinary Clinic is known for its dedicated service to the local community, providing comprehensive care for a variety of animal species. You can reach them at (608) 637-3333 or their mobile number +1 608-637-3333.
Based on the heartfelt testimonials from pet owners, Piper Veterinary Clinic, led by Dr. Piper and his wife Juliet, offers a level of care that goes beyond standard veterinary practice. One particularly moving account describes a situation where a pet owner was facing a grim prognosis for their dog, Bella, from another veterinarian. Faced with a costly diagnostic test or euthanasia, the owner reached out to Dr. Piper, who immediately accommodated them. Upon examining Bella, Dr. Piper offered a more optimistic outlook, which proved to be accurate as Bella made a remarkable recovery within days. This narrative highlights Dr. Piper's diagnostic acumen and his willingness to offer a second opinion that can significantly alter a pet's outcome, positioning Piper Veterinary Clinic as a beacon of hope for concerned pet owners seeking a knowledgeable Pet Hospital.
Another long-term client, Jeanne, speaks to the enduring trust and relationship they have with Dr. Piper and Juliet, who have served as their family vet for over 30 years. Caring for approximately ten dogs and several cats, along with other species, this client emphasizes the honesty and integrity of the clinic. They appreciate that Dr. Piper and Juliet advise on necessary treatments without unnecessary upselling, indicating a practice driven by a genuine desire to help animals rather than financial gain. This long-standing relationship underscores the reliability and ethical approach of Piper Veterinary Clinic within the Pet Hospital landscape.
Compassion is a recurring theme in the feedback received about Piper Veterinary Clinic. Both testimonials highlight the caring nature of Dr. Piper and Juliet, emphasizing their commitment to doing what is right for the animals they treat, while also considering the human aspect of pet ownership. This blend of professional expertise and genuine empathy creates a supportive and reassuring environment for pet owners seeking a Pet Hospital that truly cares.
While the reviews do not explicitly detail the physical environment of Piper Veterinary Clinic, the positive experiences shared suggest a welcoming and efficient setting. The focus of the feedback is primarily on the quality of care, the expertise of Dr. Piper, and the compassionate approach of the entire team, which are often more critical factors for pet owners than the aesthetics of the clinic itself. However, the willingness to "get right in" suggests an accessible and responsive practice.
The services offered at Piper Veterinary Clinic can be inferred from the testimonials. The successful diagnosis and treatment of Bella, who was initially thought to be at the end of life, indicate strong diagnostic and treatment capabilities. The long-term care provided to a multi-pet household suggests a broad range of general veterinary services. While specific services like surgery, dentistry, or specialized diagnostics are not explicitly mentioned, the positive outcomes and the trust placed in Dr. Piper imply a comprehensive approach to animal health expected from a reputable Pet Hospital.
In terms of features, Piper Veterinary Clinic stands out for the extensive experience of Dr. Piper (over 30 years as one family's vet), his diagnostic skills (as seen in Bella's case), and the compassionate and honest approach of both Dr. Piper and Juliet. The willingness to offer a potentially life-saving second opinion is also a significant feature that could be invaluable to pet owners facing difficult diagnoses.
Regarding promotional information, the powerful testimonials themselves serve as the best form of endorsement. The stories of Bella's recovery and the decades-long trust of another client speak volumes about the quality of care and the integrity of Piper Veterinary Clinic. For local users, these real-life examples of positive outcomes and ethical practice are more compelling than traditional promotional material. The clinic's reputation for compassion, expertise, and honesty is its strongest asset.
In conclusion, Piper Veterinary Clinic in Viroqua, WI, is presented as a Pet Hospital characterized by the experienced and skilled Dr. Piper, the compassionate care provided by him and Juliet, and a genuine commitment to the well-being of animals. The testimonials highlight the clinic's ability to offer effective solutions, even in challenging cases, and to build long-term trusting relationships with clients based on honesty and care. Oct 11, 2021 · Tammy BankerThe best there is. Doc Piper and his wonderful wife Juliet, have been our family vet for over 30 yrs. They take care of all our family dogs which comes to like 10 dogs and some cats thrown in among other species. They tell you honestly what you need and what you don't need. They are in the profession to help, not to screw anyone or take advantage. Doc Piper and Juliet are very compassionate and will do everything in their power to do right by all the animals they see, not to mention the human aspect. Jeanne
Sep 23, 2016 · Jean SpanjersExcellent veterinary care, and concern for your pet. Dr. Piper is always honest and gives you all the treatment options available for your pet's case, and the cost involved. Highly recommend!
Jul 30, 2018 · Joanne BordenOur dog just passed. We had years of good service at Piper Vet. Kind, compassionate, knowledgeable and reasonable prices. Very glad they are in the community.
Jul 13, 2021 · Amy Du CharmeOur experience with saying goodbye to our dog was terrible. It was rushed, and unsympathetic. It was already a very upsetting and sad situation, and that made it so much worse. It’s hard for me to write this, but I don’t want other families going through the same situation. I couldn’t believe it with these good reviews.
