Radiology department could do a better job at customer service. I was specifically told by the young lady that took my cat for the appt that we would have answers if he had cancer or not. I called and left a voicemail then called today and Becky the receptionist is not very kind. She was talking in a passive aggressive tone and I decided to just hang up because she would not change her attitude. Customer service is 0. She told me to just read the report and that the doctor would have nothing else to say but what’s in the report. I was like …that’s why I’m calling ? I’m calling to get answers because my own vet couldn’t help me. It would be nice if they wanted customers to read their reports that they would put them in easy to read language then.

Not very happy with the level of service I've experienced from Pieper Olson. I been coming to the Middletown office both the Berlin Rd and Randolf Rd for years. Other than your prices for the services you offered I never had a complaint. When I first went to Berlin Rd office with concerns for Hunter throwing up and being lethargic here and there , the tech took blood samples and stool samples to check if there was anything irregular. The DR told me when the results came back " everything looks great, white blood cells ,kidneys and liver. You wouldn't be able to tell he is turning 9" and gave me a false sense of nothing being wrong. When the issue persisted and he stopped eating I had to bring Hunter in. It was midnight I was calm and just trying to get my best friend the care I would expect for what I am paying Pieper Olson. Hunter threw up in the waiting area while we waited to be seen, when the doctor finally came in he sat back in the chair and said " I dont want to make a big deal out of something that we dont need to, ill treat Hunter the way you want to treat him " from what he said before I felt comfortable that he cared and was basically saying it's not a big deal... and sent us home. I refused more testing at the time because I trusted the DR saying not to make a big deal out of something.... and I didnt want to take out a second mortgage to pay your outrageous bills. The issue persisted and we had to bring Hunter back in, he still hadn't eaten anything in 3-4 days, was having issues going to the bathroom and getting up... between my girlfriend, my best friend, and my mom they all took turns while I was at work being with Hunter waiting to be seen, they got there at around 9am and by the time I got out of work around 7pm I was able to drive right the Randolf Rd office... we saw the DR and he was pretty honest and I wish we received service from him rather than the other DR that did not seem to care... the new DR told me straight up something is wrong , lymph nodes are swollen and continued to do testing... he told me to start thinking about how far I want to go with this process... I was told that because it was Friday a ultra sound tech was not available and needed to wait till the following week and hope that I could get in for an appointment... If DR #1 was more professional and serious with the situation the first time I came in I could have gotten the ultrasound sooner... When we finally got an ultra sound tech to complete the testing they called me and told me my dog has swollen lymph nodes and that I needed to see a oncologist. The first time meeting with the oncologist she recommended more testing which I approved based off the expectation that we could get some answers. The oncologist took a sample of the lymph node and ruled out lymphoma... then did more testing and said " it's cancer but i dont know what cancer it's all speculation" Meeting with her again we went over options and discussed treatment and I felt I would do anything to help my best friend and that we would give chemo a shot... canceled that shortly after because I was able to process more and see how Hunter was really not doing good. Im very upset, aggravated, disappointed and down right disgusted that Pieper Olson made me feel like my best friend Hunter was a transaction, that youre vet techs were taking advantage of a horrible situation. Not sure how your "professional" techs did not notice Hunter had lost substantial weight between vet visits from the previous year to when I had his physical, then when he went into the emergency room.... To have a DR you trust say that your dog is fine and can't even tell he is about to turn 9 based off his blood results, to putting him down and having to say goodbye to my best friend and deal with vet visits left and right being charged top dollar for minimal service. Around $4000 in testing and visits, to not have a single answer as to what was wrong with Hunter and to not have him with us anymore. You make me sick. Care for Profit is unfortunately what Pieper has become.

I change my rating from 4 to 1 very very disappointed and disgusted after yrs going here.How the two Dr's and Manager that handled at time. After always thanking them and for being professional ended up not being. To be continued with detail! As I had to take time to heal from all I went through with my Special Little Man Bam Bam ❤️ My Little Might Man Bam Bam Dec 5 2010 - April 2023 And then after a week of rain after his passing. He came back to Me as Hawk he came each evening till finally he sat outside the window, listen to this ! As I sat on the couch I had him on for his funeral and was telling my Aunt on the phone about the Hawk. I turned and there he was right outside sitting on the fence lookin at Me! As he got my attention, looked into my eyes to eyes, I got all tingles goose bumps hair standing and then he flew off. He's always around calls out when he's coming in and fly bys 😉 Don't lose Hope as your Babes are near you. 💗
