PetVets Animal Hospital

Moved to Oak Park this summer and I’ve been to three different vet hospitals since then, but here in PetVets, my money was well spent and happily spent. I had some not-so-good experiences at another vet around OP where the vet said my cat(the orange one) who had significant weight loss in a few months had bad gingivitis and gave me a $2000+ initial treatment plan for teeth extraction. I did a lot of research on cats so I didn’t believe gingivitis could cause that kind of weight loss in such a short time then found the PetVets hospital. Dr. Sachdev found my boy actually had diabetes and recommended us new drugs. Now it’s been almost 2months, my boy gained weight and looks much happier and healthier. Can’t appreciate more for those loving and caring attitudes from all the doctors and staffs there cuz I literally thought my boy was going to die two months ago… then I also brought my new puppy there for his initial wellness check with Dr. Lam, she was super friendly too. Other things I liked about this hospital: 1. Always answer the calls or call back in time so I don’t have to worry about that if I miss one call, I might need to talk to someone the next day… which happened to me before and it drove me crazy especially when my pets were sick or had some emergency. 2. Price is very fair and well listed. Let’s be fair that going to the vet is never cheap and prices among vets in the same area won’t differ much, so the most important thing to me is that my pets get good care and good attitude which is exactly what I’m paying for. 3. One last important thing here, front desk ladies gave my new puppy some treats that he really liked😂 definitely gonna go there for some treats again…

I have only good things to say about PetVets and my cats, Ms. Oreo and Ms. Sushi would agree with me too. 1. every doctor, tech, and even front desk have been very helpful 2. doctors have even called me on Saturdays to update me regarding my pets' conditions. 3. They try their very best for their patients to be seen ASAP. 4. Oreo and Sushi appreciate their courtesy "mani/pedicure"

We are so happy we switched to PetVets! Our former vet quoted us $1300 to neuter our puppy, which is highway robbery, PV quoted $500 so we switched! Dr Cidon was so helpful answering questions and identifying some other issues that our puppy had. PV is a down-to-Earth practice with vets who care about pets but won't nickel and dime you. Highly recommend!

Love love love PetVets! The staff truly loves animals. Pet Vets has been there for me from bringing home a new puppy, to sick visits, to wellness visits and the final goodbye 😢 Their caring, compassion & love is so appreciated! My pups actually like going to visit too! We won’t go anywhere else - even if we leave the area.

Dr. Lam is the best. She knows her stuff and is so kind, patient, and gentle with my elderly cats. She explains things well and answers all my questions. We've worked on getting treatment plans for both of my cats issues. Staff is responsive and caring whether it's in person, on the phone or emails.
