Dr Pinkston was very attentive to my recently rescued pet, Woody; found abandoned, thin, frightened & with plenty of ticks. The veterinarian assistant was also attentive and welcoming/personable. Dr Pinkston took the time to sit down across from myself with the pet in between and explain vaccines, upcoming neuter plan and treatments for diarrhea as well as general care and assessment. Both staff were present during Woody’s assessment. The follow-up was excellent and a sense of genuine concern was conveyed. Having access to a staff member 24/7 is also reassuring.

PetVet365 Pet Hospital & Dental Center Lexington/Brannon Crossing Introduce

Welcome to the introduction of PetVet365 Pet Hospital & Dental Center Lexington/Brannon Crossing, a "Pet Hospital" located at 110 Langley Dr, Nicholasville, KY 40356, USA. This facility offers a combination of general veterinary services and a dedicated dental center for your pets. You can contact them at (859) 832-0440 or their mobile number +1 859-832-0440.

Based on the available customer reviews, experiences at PetVet365 Pet Hospital & Dental Center appear to be varied. One pet owner shared a positive initial experience with Dr. Pinkston regarding their recently rescued dog, Woody. They described Dr. Pinkston as "very attentive" to the thin, frightened dog with ticks. The veterinary assistant was also noted as "attentive and welcoming/personable." The reviewer appreciated Dr. Pinkston taking the time to explain vaccines, the neuter plan, diarrhea treatments, general care, and assessment while sitting with them and the pet. They also mentioned that both staff members were present during Woody's assessment. The follow-up was described as "excellent," conveying a "sense of genuine concern." The reviewer also found the 24/7 staff access reassuring.

However, another customer reported a significantly negative experience. This reviewer stated they were charged $500 for flea medication and eye drops for their cat, yet their cat's condition worsened considerably, leading to an inability to stand and loss of mobility in the back legs. They described the care as "terrible" and felt the clinic failed to provide a proper diagnosis. Despite the high cost, they left with "no answers and a pet who is suffering more than before," labeling the experience as a "complete failure." The "Before and After" note suggests a stark contrast in the cat's condition before and after the treatment received.

Given these contrasting reviews, it is difficult to definitively characterize the environment of PetVet365 Pet Hospital & Dental Center. The positive review suggests a caring and attentive atmosphere, where staff take the time to explain treatments and show genuine concern. The presence of both the veterinarian and assistant during the assessment also indicates a collaborative approach. On the other hand, the negative review implies a potentially inadequate diagnostic process and a lack of improvement in the pet's condition despite treatment, which might reflect on the overall quality of care provided in certain situations. Without more information, it's challenging to paint a complete picture of the clinic's environment.

As a "Pet Hospital & Dental Center," PetVet365 likely offers a range of services, including:

  • General Veterinary Care: Including wellness exams, vaccinations, and treatment of illnesses.
  • Dental Services: Given the "Dental Center" designation, this likely includes teeth cleaning, extractions, and other dental procedures.
  • Diagnostic Services: To help identify pet health issues.
  • Medication Dispensing: As indicated by the flea medication and eye drops.
  • Surgical Services: Possibly including neutering, as mentioned in the positive review.
  • Emergency Care: The 24/7 staff access suggests availability for urgent situations, although this is not explicitly stated as an emergency service.

The features of PetVet365 Pet Hospital & Dental Center that can be identified from the reviews include:

  • Attentive and Personable Staff: As highlighted in the positive review.
  • Thorough Explanations of Treatment Plans: As experienced by one customer.
  • 24/7 Staff Access: Providing reassurance for pet owners.
  • Dental Center: Suggesting a focus on pet dental health.
  • Willingness to Treat Rescued Animals: As seen with Woody.

However, the negative review also points to potential drawbacks:

  • Possibility of High Costs: $500 for flea and eye medication was perceived as expensive.
  • Potential for Inadequate Diagnosis: As claimed by the dissatisfied customer.
  • Risk of Worsening Pet Condition: Despite treatment.

There is no promotional information available in the provided reviews. Local users would need to inquire directly with PetVet365 Pet Hospital & Dental Center to learn about any current offers or specific services they might be interested in.

For local users in Nicholasville and the Lexington/Brannon Crossing area, PetVet365 Pet Hospital & Dental Center presents itself as a facility offering both general veterinary and specialized dental care for pets. The positive review highlights a caring and communicative approach, particularly with a rescued animal, and the reassurance of 24/7 staff access. However, the negative review raises concerns about the effectiveness of treatment and the diagnostic process in at least one instance. Potential clients may want to consider these differing experiences when making a decision about their pet's care.

I have never left a review on anything in my life but this needs to be addressed. i was charged $500 for flea medication and eye drops for my cat, yet my cat’s condition is far worse than whenever we had brought him in. He can’t stand and has lost all mobility in his back legs. The care was terrible, and they couldn’t even provide a proper diagnosis. Despite the high cost, I left with no answers and a pet who is suffering more than before. This experience was a complete failure. Before and After

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this veterinary hospital and the wonderful people who work here….I had been feeding a stray cat and one day the cat looked injured and I immediately started to google veterinary hospitals/clinics for help only to be told “I’m sorry, we don’t have anything today” until I called this office. They got me an appointment right away, and helped this poor stray cat (that I have now adopted) get happy and healthy right away. I now have another new addition (puppy) that I adopted from a shelter and this office was our first visit to somewhere other than our house. I feel so comfortable that my animals are getting the best care possible and that means so much. This place, all the staff are the absolute best!!!! Got my “fur” babies their care for life right here.

This is what every veterinary practice should strive to be like! They are extremely thorough, kind, efficient, caring, and go above and beyond to make their clients and patients feel welcome, understood, and comfortable. Dr. Pinkston had to deliver some bad news to us about our kitty, Cosmo, and he did it with so much patience, compassion, and empathy. We were not rushed. We did not leave without answers to all of our questions. The facility was super clean, modern, and well planned. The cat room has a cat tree, toys, treats, a cat bed, a couch, cat decor, cat wall-climbing structures, and even a TV with birds/squirrels for the patients to watch! Cosmo was pampered while waiting for his ultrasound, and we are so grateful for the love he was shown by the doctors and all the staff. Their communication practices are excellent at this practice! We will definitely be back in the future.

Dr. P and the entire 365 team are outstanding. They have provided my Labrador with superb care a handful of times during our stay in Kentucky. As a traveler, it is hard to find a vet willing to take new patients for short durations, but they took us on with open arms. I knew my dog was safe, well cared for & being given appropriate treatment from the first visit & it continued through our last. It is very apparent the entire team genuinely cares for the patients that walk through their door.
