First time coming here for vaccines. Have a rather aggressive dog and the staff was wonderful! They were super patient. It took 5 of us to hold her down. Sorry you guys! But look at that sweet face! 😂 🐶

Welcome to PetVet Vaccination Clinic

Welcome to PetVet Vaccination Clinic, a Pet Hospital located at 15 Plaza Pkwy, Lexington, NC 27292, USA. You can reach them by phone at (800) 427-7973 or +1 800-427-7973. As a Pet Hospital with a focus on vaccinations, PetVet Vaccination Clinic aims to provide accessible and convenient vaccination services for pets in the Lexington, NC area. The customer reviews offer contrasting experiences, highlighting both positive aspects of their staff and potential areas for improvement in their operational processes.

Based on the first review, the environment at PetVet Vaccination Clinic seems to be one where the staff is patient and accommodating, even with challenging animals. The reviewer with an aggressive dog praised the staff's wonderful and super patient demeanor, noting that it took five people to safely handle her dog for vaccinations. This suggests a team that is willing to take the necessary time and effort to care for pets, even those that may be anxious or difficult during procedures. While this review doesn't detail the physical environment, it implies a supportive and understanding atmosphere created by the staff.

However, the second review presents a less favorable perspective on the clinic's operations. This customer described the experience as "not so great," citing issues related to limited days and hours leading to an excess of people and a rushed, overwhelming atmosphere. They also pointed out confusion regarding the appointment process, where online registration was requested in email reminders, but upon arrival, customers were instructed to wait in their cars or browse the store until they received a text message. This reviewer claimed they were skipped for waiting in their car, as the clinic prioritized those waiting in line inside, many of whom had not pre-registered. The reviewer expressed frustration over the perceived disregard for online registration and the long wait times, noting that the clinic setup appeared to be in disarray. This feedback suggests potential challenges with managing a high volume of clients efficiently and clearly communicating the appointment procedures.

Given that PetVet Vaccination Clinic is named as such, their primary services likely revolve around providing vaccinations for pets, which are a crucial aspect of preventative veterinary care. These vaccinations help protect dogs and cats from a range of potentially serious and even fatal diseases. Depending on the clinic, they might offer a variety of core and non-core vaccines based on the pet's species, age, lifestyle, and local disease prevalence. While the reviews don't list specific vaccines offered, it's reasonable to assume they provide common vaccinations for dogs and cats, such as rabies, distemper, parvovirus, and others.

In addition to vaccinations, a Pet Hospital, even one specializing in this area, might also offer related services such as:

  • Basic Health Checks: A brief examination might be conducted before administering vaccines to ensure the pet is healthy enough.
  • Parasite Prevention: Some vaccination clinics may also offer or recommend products for flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.
  • Information and Education: Providing pet owners with information about the vaccines being administered and the importance of preventative care.

Based on the reviews, key features of PetVet Vaccination Clinic appear to be:

  • Patient Staff: As highlighted by the owner of the aggressive dog, the staff is noted for their patience and willingness to handle challenging pets.
  • Focus on Vaccinations: The name itself suggests a specialization in providing pet vaccinations.

However, potential drawbacks mentioned include:

  • Potential for Overcrowding: Limited days and hours may lead to a high volume of clients.
  • Rushed Experience: The high volume might contribute to a feeling of being rushed.
  • Confusing Appointment Process: Discrepancies between online registration and the actual check-in procedure were reported.
  • Disorganized Setup: One reviewer described the clinic as being set up in disarray.
  • Long Wait Times: Despite online registration, significant wait times were experienced.

Not so great. With limited days and hours there are an excess amount of people with their pets wanting to be seen making the entire experience rushed and overwhelming. Also the Information provided in the email reminders is confusing. They ask that you register online to schedule an appointment. On the day of appointment, you receive an email informing you to wait in car or browse the store until you receive a text message letting you know when it’s time for your pet to be seen. Beware….Do not wait in your car or you will be skip like I was. They do not honor online registration like they ought to. After waiting patiently in my car for 30 minutes, I finally go into the store where I encounter a long line of people most of whom did not pre register. Then I am told that service is given to those who were on line first. If my time was worthless then it wouldn’t matter. Not to mention, the entire clinic was set up in disarray. Overall very disappointing.

I’ve always liked their services! I first went to them in Virginia — they’re friendly, professional, and ask the right questions.

Was not happy with the pre registration policy in place now. People who had not registered were being taken ahead of the ones who had registered so I don’t know what the point was to register. Probably will NOT go this route again. Better off just making an appointment with the local vet.
