Please do not take your animals to this place!! Took my puppy for his second set of shots and decided to add on nail trimming( $30 extra). when he came out I asked if his ears were ok which the vet didn’t even check his ears. When I started to walk off notice blood on his paws. The vet tech ran and got powder to stop the bleeding told me if it continued to bleed at home put flour on it. I carried my 50 puppy to the car due to the snow outside and my son noticed him walking different. I got home carried him up 2 flights of stairs and he laid on the floor. Checked his paws the front paw had a nail split down with the nail hanging. Once I got to his back paws each nail was cut down to the quick!!!! He was limping due to the pain. Calling the customer service number is a joke they don’t answer. When I filled the form out I heard nothing. I filled it out again and got a phone call. The lady crystal refused to give me her bosses name or contact information. Said she would pass my information off to the “board”. She didn’t care that my puppy was hurt because of this and said she can’t speak on the vet. That’s apart of your so called business!! She asked for me to stop cutting her off after she would laugh and not take this incident serious but it was ok for her to keep cutting me off when all she was going to do is educate the staff and pass the information along???? You can’t be serious it takes about 8 years to become a vet how much more education do you need to know how to cut nails???I hope and pray they record them phone calls because now this is going the legal route!!!! They are lucky I can’t give no stars.

PetVet Vaccination Clinic Introduce
Welcome to the information page for PetVet Vaccination Clinic, located at 901 Loucks Rd, York, PA 17404, USA. Operating under the platform category of Pet Hospital, PetVet Vaccination Clinic appears to focus on providing vaccination services for pets. As local users consider options for their pet care needs in York, PA, it is important to have an objective understanding of the clinic based on available information, including direct feedback from other pet owners.
Information regarding the specific environment of PetVet Vaccination Clinic is not detailed in the provided reviews. However, vaccination clinics often prioritize efficiency and accessibility for routine preventative care. This might translate to a straightforward and functional setting designed to handle a high volume of appointments focused on vaccinations. One positive review mentions a short wait time, which could indicate an efficient operational flow. However, without more comprehensive descriptions, it is difficult to provide a detailed account of the clinic's ambiance and facilities. Local users may wish to inquire directly or observe the clinic environment during a visit to form their own assessment.
The primary service offered by PetVet Vaccination Clinic, as suggested by its name, is pet vaccinations. This is a crucial aspect of preventative healthcare for pets, protecting them from various infectious diseases. Vaccination clinics often offer core vaccines recommended for dogs and cats, as well as other non-core vaccines based on lifestyle and risk factors. The positive review confirms that the clinic provides vaccinations, with one customer mentioning their kitten receiving vaccinations and a check-up. This indicates that beyond just administering shots, a basic health assessment might also be part of their service. It is advisable for pet owners to contact the clinic directly to understand the full range of vaccines they offer and whether they align with their pet's specific needs.
In addition to vaccinations, the negative review mentions an add-on service of nail trimming for an extra fee. This suggests that PetVet Vaccination Clinic may offer some basic grooming services alongside their vaccination focus. However, the experience described in this review regarding the nail trimming was significantly negative, detailing a puppy with severely cut nails that were bleeding and causing the animal to limp. This incident raises serious concerns about the standard of care provided during this particular service. It is important for potential clients to be aware of such experiences when considering PetVet Vaccination Clinic for any services beyond vaccinations.
One of the features highlighted in the positive review is the kindness and informativeness of the veterinarian and technicians. This suggests that some customers have experienced positive interactions with the staff and found them helpful in understanding the care provided. The ease of having a new kitten checked over and vaccinated, as mentioned in this review, points to a potentially convenient process for routine preventative care. The reviewer also mentioned a price of $130 as "fair" for the vaccinations and check-up, indicating that some customers find their pricing reasonable.
However, the stark contrast with the negative review cannot be ignored. This customer reported a distressing experience with a puppy who suffered injuries during a nail trim and expressed extreme dissatisfaction with the clinic's handling of the complaint. The alleged difficulty in contacting customer service and the refusal to provide management contact information are significant concerns. This feedback suggests potential issues with accountability and customer service responsiveness. The severity of the injury reported, with nails cut down to the quick and causing lameness, indicates a potential lack of proper training or care during the procedure. This raises a red flag for pet owners considering any services at this clinic.
Promotional information for PetVet Vaccination Clinic is not explicitly mentioned in the provided reviews. Vaccination clinics sometimes offer package deals for a series of vaccinations or discounts during certain periods. Local users interested in any potential promotions should contact PetVet Vaccination Clinic directly at (800) 427-7973 or +1 800-427-7973 to inquire about current offers. It may also be beneficial to check their website or any local advertising for information on pricing or special deals.
In conclusion, PetVet Vaccination Clinic in York, PA, primarily offers vaccination services for pets and may provide some additional services like nail trimming. While one customer reported a positive experience with efficient service, kind staff, and fair pricing for vaccinations and a check-up, another customer detailed a severely negative experience involving a poorly performed nail trim that resulted in injury to their puppy and significant issues with customer service follow-up. This starkly contrasting feedback presents a mixed picture for potential clients. Local users should carefully consider both positive and negative experiences shared by others when deciding whether PetVet Vaccination Clinic meets their pet care needs. The reported injury and the alleged difficulties in resolving the issue are serious concerns that warrant careful consideration.

Jul 27, 2024 · Hangry KhaleesiGreat service the doctor was wonderful and answered all of our questions and gave us good references on other products we can use for our dog.
Jan 02, 2024 · Catrice HarrisI had a great experience! Came at just the right time around 3:30pm on a rainy day, and was seen right away. The techs were friendly and helped me determine what tests were really needed (they didn't try to push extra things that I thought I might need), and the vet came out and explained every thing and answered any questions I had after seeing our pup. Hope to have a repeat experience for future needs! Definitely saved us $$ on shots/screenings. Thanks!
