Pets R Us Vet

Pets R Us is amazing. Unfortunately we had to put my sister's 13 year old German Shepherd down recently but the staff were all amazing. They helped her feel better about the whole process and took such great care of Krieger!

I have been bringing my animals here for a little over two years! The vet here is absolutely amazing, definitely try’s to help out in the best way possible! He understand person problems and how to economy is now a days and if it was not for him I would no longer have Ruger or link! Please come here!

So way over priced! Took my dog in for a X-ray today and they tried charging me $324!!! That is almost triple of anyone else around. That explains why I always see an empty parking lot. They still charged me $55 for just coming in. They literally did nothing but weigh my dog and the vet came in held my dog for gave me an outrageous quote for the X-ray. Which I declined

This hospital takes the BEST care of my Phoebe. She's a golden retriever puppy with a lot of energy and lots of love to give. The techs get so excited to see her and I can really tell that they love her. Every time we go in, I can hear them in the back praising her and giving her love. It makes my heart so happy to know they treat her well behind closed doors. I had to leave her for the whole day at the clinic after she got spayed because of work. I had no doubt that they loved on her the entire time. We always feel so welcome when we visit. I used to be a vet tech and have the highest expectations for care for my puppy. This clinic never disappoints! They answer every question thoughtfully, give such great estimates so I am never surprised by the price, and they are so great at explaining what they need to do before they do it. As long as we live in middle TN, we won't be going anywhere else. Phoebe and I are so grateful to the staff at Pets R Us and are so glad to call them our veterinary home!

Save your pet and avoid this place. I took my cat when he was having issues on his mouth. The vet looked at him for a moment by squeezing at the puss and grabbing at his jaw. Then, told us it was an abscess tooth and provided antibiotics and an anti-inflammatory. Before we left, we were told how to set up a tooth removal and cleaning that would cost over $1000. After 4-5 days things weren’t getting better but progressively worse. This time I searched for someone highly known and involved in community. I was devastated to find my poor fur baby was completely mistreated. There was no abscess tooth! There was a large melanoma tumor in his mouth that had swollen so bad it was keeping him from eating and drinking. Had I not felt something was wrong, I would have paid so much for unnecessary treatment and my baby would have continued to suffer. Save your pet and go anywhere else! Update 1: They say the medical records indicate they thought it was tumor; that is untrue. I have a copy. see second picture. I stand by what I said. Go anywhere else. Update 2: Over a month and still never heard back from them after I had to continuously call to even speak to someone. I was told repeatedly the manager would call and never did. PS: They edited their response to cover themselves and refuse to offer anything other than a discount on my other pet visits. As if I would ever take my babies there again?! So sad that they are unwilling to admit the mistake and rectify the situation properly.
