May 08, 2025 · Kristy SchurmanPredatory bilking practices. I needed my cat fixed and when I dropped her off I was told she would need a rabies shot. She had one at her last vet visit but I couldn’t provide proof so reluctantly said yes. The lady behind the desk (the large one) didn’t bother to tell me that it would be $30 for the rabies shot, and then when I came to pick up my cat she told me about the rabies shot cost, and also a $30 “exam” fee which she didn’t tell me about until after. When questioned about the exam and rabies costs she told me they are state requirements and legally necessary. Shouldn’t it also be legally necessary to disclose these costs as well? Shouldn’t I have been made aware of this at the front desk BEFORE treatment? The lady reluctantly waived the rabies and exam fee bringing my total down $60. Even though she dropped the costs from my bill I felt compelled to validate the other negative reviews so when somebody is trying to figure out if this establishment is trustworthy I can add to the collective voice in the comments that this veterinary clinic is predatory. Make sure if you come to this place that you negotiate costs on the phone, and better yet audio record them so they can’t pull a fast one on you. Very disappointed and will not be returning. (Edit) I asked for my animal to get fixed I never asked for a rabies shot or an exam. I very clearly stated that it was my wife who called LAST time we had a cat fixed here. I was the one who booked the appointment for today. No mention of a rabies vaccine or exam fee was mentioned on the phone call. If you have nothing to hide, AND you get lots of reviews which state that the exam fee was not disclosed, a reasonable human being would make it a part of their standard telephone script to include that information so nobody gets confused. I guarantee that you won’t start disclosing the rabies shot and exam requirement because most people pull their card out and pay it. You regularly waive the fee and keep it hidden because your practice makes many thousands of dollars from the people who just pay it instead of force you to remove these items from their bill. If anybody gets really mad about the non disclosed fees I strongly suggest paying it in full and then doing a chargeback with your bank. They have no possibility of fighting to get the chargeback reversed due to the “he said, she said” nature of the pitiful situation. Charging $30 for a “check up” when a person asked only to have an animal spayed or neutered is fraud. When a person asks for a single service, they should only be billed for that service. Your business makes too much money from people just rolling over and paying the $30 for you to intentionally disclose it. You lack morals and karma will get you (or maybe it already did you look incredibly unhealthy).
Feb 24, 2025 · Brandon StewartTook a puppy in for last round of puppy shots. She found a heart murmur no other vet found. Was a very slight murmur. Very thorough and great at explaining everything that you need to know. Definitely recommend.
