In home euthanasia was the best choice for our precious Lucy and I can't say enough good things about Jane and Michelle. They handled the situation professionally, gracefully and gently. They were kind, understanding and loving. They made Lucy comfortable and her transition was painless. She was surrounded by the people she loved. I would urge anyone to put their pet to rest at home, and choose Pets at Peace. It was the best possible experience for Lucy and the people who loved her.

Welcome to Pets At Peace Vet Care:In-home Euthanasia

For pet owners facing the incredibly difficult decision of saying goodbye to a beloved companion, the environment and process of that final farewell are paramount. Pets At Peace Vet Care: In-home Euthanasia, located at 170 Rhodes St, Providence, RI 02903, USA, stands as a uniquely specialized service within the "Pet Hospital" category. Unlike traditional clinics that offer a broad range of veterinary services, Pets At Peace focuses exclusively on providing compassionate, in-home euthanasia, recognizing the profound emotional and practical benefits of allowing pets to pass peacefully in their familiar surroundings.

Environment: The Comfort of Home

The defining environmental aspect of Pets At Peace Vet Care is that there is no traditional clinic or hospital setting. Instead, the service takes place entirely within the pet's home. This fundamentally alters the end-of-life experience, transforming it from a potentially stressful visit to a veterinary office filled with unfamiliar smells and sounds, into a calm and peaceful transition in the pet's most cherished space. As one customer eloquently put it, they "didn’t want his last experience with us to be in a vets office with the smells of other animals, noises and the stress of travel. We really just wanted him to pass peacefully at home." This is precisely the environment that Pets At Peace provides.

The home environment allows pets to be surrounded by their loved ones, their favorite blankets, toys, and the familiar sights and sounds of their everyday life. This minimizes anxiety and discomfort, ensuring that their final moments are as serene as possible. The presence of Dr. Linden and her team, who are described as professional, graceful, and gentle, further enhances this tranquil atmosphere, creating a sanctuary of peace even amidst profound sadness. This thoughtful approach to the environment is a cornerstone of their compassionate service model.

When our cat Foofins started his end of life process, we knew that we didn’t want his last experience with us to be in a vets office with the smells of other animals, noises and the stress of travel. We really just wanted him to pass peacefully at home. We had no idea that a service like this was available. When I reached out to Dr. Linden, she responded quickly and professionally. We setup a call and Dr.Linden answered all of our questions with clarity and compassion. This was an important step for us. Not only to clarify the process but the validation of knowing we were making the right decision. Today was our scheduled day to say goodbye and our cat’s health took a turn for the worst. My wife reached out, and Dr.Linden was able to come to us earlier to minimize his suffering. When Dr. Linden and Tech Michelle arrived, I can’t explain it, but they felt more like family. They are a fantastic team. The empathy and compassion they showed us and our boy was more than I have ever witnessed. Having been through the end of life process many times with animals in my life, the service they provided today was truly a blessing. I couldn’t put a price on what they did for us today. They are truly amazing women.

Jane and Michelle helped me through one of the most difficult experiences of my life when I had to say goodbye to my cat, Nubby. I’m crying as I write this, of course because of the fresh loss of my very dear friend, but also because of how compassionate and comforting Jane and Michelle were throughout the entire process. For years it’s been just me and Nubs, and so I was scared to have to do this alone. But I didn’t feel alone. I needed a hand on my shoulder and reassurance that I had done my best, and they gave me that and so much more. I felt very prepared throughout the process and knew what to expect every step of the way. As a tortie, Nubby was always a “spicy” cat, and they helped me feel ready for how she might react to at the very beginning so I wasn’t surprised. And after a very brief, spicy start (honestly, it wouldn’t have been Nubby if she didn’t have a spicy start

If you have the time and flexibility to choose who will perform the almost-sacred rite of euthanizing your pet, I can attest that Pets at Peace not only has the medical expertise but the compassion, empathy and understanding of what your pet......and you......need for this solemn event. Jane and Michelle are a great team, both with years of experience that make this very emotional time a more intimate, loving and meaningful one.

Jane and Michelle are absolutely amazing. Their professionalism and genuine warmth is unmatched. From my initial phone call with Michelle through to the last moments with our dog Lucky, both women were so kind, compassionate, attentive, and professional. I am beyond grateful that I found them. The turn around time was one day and just right for our needs. Thank you both a million times over for all that you do for pets and families in need. We appreciate you so very much.
