After 2 years of emailing PetRays following their website link, calling and leaving messages, and even calling regarding radiology reports that had their canned message to "call if you have any questions"; I have not heard a single reply from this company. I know everyone is busier in this industry currently so I was as patient as possible. It would be a simple solution to indicate you aren't accepting new customers on your website or answering service. Unfortunately, some of our local clinics still use your services so we do get reports. But what use are they if you don't answer any calls?

Welcome to PetRays

Introducing PetRays, a veterinary service located at 2024 Rayford Rd, Spring, TX 77386, USA, with contact numbers (888) 473-8729 and +1 888-473-8729. Operating under the platform category of a service provider for Pet Hospitals, PetRays specializes in teleradiology, offering interpretation of radiology images (such as X-rays) for veterinary clinics. It is important to note that PetRays primarily serves other veterinary practices rather than directly offering services to individual pet owners. Therefore, local users may encounter PetRays indirectly if their primary veterinary clinic utilizes their radiology interpretation services.

As a teleradiology service, PetRays' environment is not a traditional pet hospital where pet owners bring their animals for direct care. Instead, PetRays likely operates from an office setting equipped with the necessary technology and infrastructure to receive, review, and interpret digital radiology images submitted by veterinary clinics. This would include secure data transfer systems, high-resolution imaging workstations for radiologists, and communication channels to relay reports back to the referring veterinarians. The focus of their environment is on efficient and accurate image analysis and reporting, rather than a patient-facing clinical setting.

The primary service offered by PetRays is the interpretation of veterinary radiology images. When a local Pet Hospital utilizes PetRays, they would typically perform X-rays or other radiological imaging of a pet on-site. These digital images are then securely transmitted to PetRays' team of radiologists, who specialize in veterinary imaging. The radiologists review these images to identify any abnormalities, diagnose medical conditions, and provide a detailed written report of their findings. This report is then sent back to the referring veterinarian at the local clinic, who uses the information to develop a treatment plan for the pet and communicate the results to the pet owner. Therefore, PetRays plays a crucial role in the diagnostic process but does so behind the scenes, working in collaboration with local Pet Hospitals.

Based on the available customer reviews, it is crucial for local veterinary clinics considering utilizing PetRays' services to be aware of some significant concerns raised regarding their communication and responsiveness. One review details repeated attempts over two years to contact PetRays via email and phone, with no response received. This lack of communication persisted even when inquiries were made about radiology reports that explicitly encouraged follow-up questions. The reviewer suggests that PetRays should clearly indicate if they are not accepting new customers or are experiencing communication difficulties.

Another review echoes these concerns, describing the PetRays team as "terrible" in terms of professionalism and stating a consistent failure to answer or return calls or emails. This reviewer expresses frustration and the sentiment that PetRays takes veterinarians for granted, recommending that veterinary professionals explore alternative teleradiology service providers. The positive aspect mentioned in this review is the quality of the radiologists themselves, suggesting that the interpretation of images may be accurate. However, this strength is overshadowed by the reported difficulties in interacting with the PetRays team.

The features of PetRays, as a teleradiology service, would typically include a team of board-certified or experienced veterinary radiologists with expertise in interpreting a wide range of animal radiology images. They likely utilize advanced software and technology for image viewing, analysis, and reporting. Features might also include rapid turnaround times for reports, secure online portals for image submission and report retrieval by veterinary clinics, and potentially consultation services with the radiologists. However, the negative reviews raise concerns about the reliability and accessibility of these potential features due to the reported lack of communication.

Given the serious concerns raised in the customer reviews regarding PetRays' communication and responsiveness, it is challenging to objectively present any promotional information. The lack of response to inquiries and the difficulty in reaching the team, as reported by multiple sources, would likely outweigh any potential benefits of their services for veterinary clinics. It is essential for local Pet Hospitals to carefully consider these reported issues when deciding whether to partner with PetRays for their teleradiology needs. While the radiologists' expertise is acknowledged in one review, the operational and communicative aspects of the service appear to be significant areas of concern.

In conclusion, PetRays, located in Spring, TX, operates as a teleradiology service, providing interpretation of radiology images for veterinary clinics. While they likely possess the radiological expertise necessary for this service, recent customer feedback raises significant concerns regarding their communication and responsiveness. Local Pet Hospitals considering utilizing PetRays should be aware of these reported issues and may want to explore alternative teleradiology providers to ensure reliable and professional support for their diagnostic imaging needs. Individual pet owners in the Spring area will likely encounter PetRays only indirectly through their primary veterinary clinic's service providers.

Radiologists are great but Petrays team is terrible. Does not feel like I am dealing with a professional team. Will never answer or return your call or email. To me it seems that they take veterinarians for granted. I do not think I have such terrible experience with any other organization. Veterinarians are probably not aware of other Teleradiology services. Just google it and you will find other service providers.

The radiologist reports are excellent but the customer service is completely non-existent! If you have any problems or questions, they will NOT call or respond to you by phone or email.

Call SYNERGY! Pet Rays is unreliable, unavailable, and do not meet their response time promises half of the time. I tried to call 8 times and left 8 messages and have yet to touch base with anyone from this company. We are done. Hello Synergy.
