PetCure Oncology at Veterinary Radiosurgery and Imaging Center

DR. K is the most knowledgeable, caring & compassionate doctor irrespective of discipline. He cared for our Hope & provided us precious time with her until it was to let her pass. He has cared for our Remy for 2 years now. "Bucko" will miss Dr. K & staff, but we'll come visit!

My dog went to PetCure for a CT scan after being diagnosed with a thyroid tumor. We were actually met at the door and brought right into a comfortable consultation room. My dog is not the easiest patient but we were still made to feel very welcome by every member of the staff. The process was explained by Dr. Wolf and everything went very smoothly with my dog's scan. After discharge we didn't have to wait long at all for the radiologist's very thorough report. PetCure helped make a difficult situation so much easier for us and we truly appreciate their support. Highly recommend!!

My dog was a patient here in 2022 when oncologists were actually on site. We went for a recheck in Sept 2024 and no oncologists were on site nor did I receive a video or phone consult from their oncologist. After my dog’s aspiration results came back as cancerous, I received a call from the non-oncologist vet who told me to have the mass removed by my primary care vet, completely disregarding his medical history. My dog has 3 heart conditions that require any surgeries to take place at a hospital. This practice no longer cares to be thorough and attentive to their patients. I’m truly shocked and offended at this neglectful recommendation and at the complete absence of any time from a veterinary oncologist during my 2 hour appointment and follow up call.

The staff and vets here made a stressful experience much more pleasant for both me and my dog. I feel lucky to live near such a state of the art facility. My dog was treated for an MCT in her chest which could not be excised completely by her surgery. Daisy is a high anxiety little dog, but the vets here are experts at dealing with stressed dogs and I have to applaud the anesthesiologist for finding the right mix for her.

Very pleased with my visits to PetCure at VRIC. Amazing friendly staff. From the moment you walk through the door, they treat your pet as their own, and the quality of service is top notch. I worked both times with Dr. Van Beveren, who is very thorough and takes as much time as needed to set your mind at ease and clearly explain everything he is going to do. CT scans generally take about 45 minutes and you can grab free coffee or soda and watch TV while you wait. Services can be pricey, but they will work with you if your pet requires multiple visits.
