Will never go here, lied and take advantage of people during holidays. They have a two week cancellation policy which I get if it applies. We booked with them yesterday afternoon just for crate service no suites available. Later got a call back they had a cancellation for a suite so we took it which comes with $150 deposit. Later yesterday evening our travel plans were changed unexpectedly. Called them this morning as soon as they opened to advise. They explained the refund policy but said they would speak with their manager since this all happened within 24 hours. Got a call back they won’t refund due to holidays but would any other time. The worst part is the lies, they claimed they had to move a lot of dogs around to accommodate us, which is not true we signed up for crates they called us to inform of a cancellation not moving any dogs around. Hard to be honest in todays world it appears. I wouldn’t trust someone with my dogs who can lie right to your face. Must be hard up for business - Brutal!!! And the lies continue to be double down on with their response. A suite was never a possibility by moving dogs around or that would have been discussed when asked. We agreed to bring our own crates and not do a suite. We were put on a waiting list if there were “cancellations”, which we received a call back that there was. If a business can’t be honest DO NOT TRUST OR SUPPORT. A simple we won’t refund the deposit that’s our policy even though it was a matter of about 1-2 hours of your business being open is beyond shady. We don’t care about the money the lies are enough to let everyone know this place can’t be trusted. If you have to lie that’s all I or anyone needs to know.

Dec 17, 2024 · jesse adolphMay 2nd 2023 dropped off my perfectly healthy 6 year, 11 month doberman for boarding purposes only. She was returned dead on May 7th 2023. Pet coral staff over watered my dog on a Saturday night. She was found by staff lying on her side on Sunday. Her stomach ruptured, spleen burst due to bloat. They failed to call any veterinary staff in any attempt to save her, instead they drove my dog across town to an emergency vet where she arrived brain dead. The manager of pet coral left a voicemail on my phone stating that there had been a situation with my dog and she was being taken to blue pearl. He further stated on my voicemail that we think her stomach turned.
Aug 03, 2024 · Dedra SheffieldI was so excited to have found PetCoral, til I wasn't. In Feb 2024 I made a 'get to know' appointment for my senior dog. We took him to meet the vet and be evaluated for boarding. Our corgi is 17 yrs. old and no medical issues beyond old age (I was planning on having his eyes checked with regular vet but had not done so yet). In meeting with the vet in residence, we were told that he was approved to stay but we needed to get his eyes checked. No problem. However, we were never asked to submit eye check up results. In June I confirmed that we were all set and confirmed what info they needed. They mentioned a fecal test but that was all. Early July, I again confirm what they needed and again told fecal only which I submitted. Two days before stay, confirmed we were all set via email and received an email back that all was good on their end. Day before we are scheduled to drop off our dog, around 12:30 mid day, got a call from a tech that they noticed our dog was a senior dog and that he would have to be approved for boarding stay. I was not only shocked but annoyed and made it very clear that for months we were operating as if everything was OK since he had met him and he been approved by the in residence vet. Tech stated that with his eye condition and given his age, they were concerned. I offered to send results from eye exam, which I promptly did and countered their statement of dog needing extra care. His eyes need 2 drops per day and he is not blind. He sleeps most of the day and all night - his energy goes to getting super excited for breakfast and dinner. I called back to confirm they received eye results and asked when I would get confirmation for his stay, from the vet. Was told sometime around 4ish, after all appointments were finished. At that time I was also informed that he may require 'medical care' which has additional fees. I reminded them that the given stay need was imminent, I could not wait til end of day to get their verdict. I asked to speak with Manager. Manager would not get on the phone but relayed a 'confirmation' that my dog would definitely be able to stay but that it would incur additional medical fees for extra care. This was crazy because they could not explain to me what additional medical care they were referring to. We had already booked a solo suite for him so he was not going to be socialized in any way. All he needed was 2 eye drops per day. Needless to say, I was left with such a distaste for this venue. Had I been informed up front that there was an additional fee, I would have been fine with the whole thing but calling me with less than 24 hrs to go was not OK. My reservation was for 6 days. I ended up cancelling reservation after I found another boarding venue 3 hrs away, where I was going to be staying. But, will def. not recommend PetCoral.
Jul 30, 2024 · Sylvia MontgomerySo thankful that Katie passed her evaluation. I think Katie also had a great time and she probably made 30 or 40 new friends. When I brought her home, she was exhausted from one super busy day. We are looking forward to the next occasion to bring her over for a stay.
Jan 18, 2024 · Michael DuffyI took my Golden Retriever in for her shots and a grooming. I explained I wanted a summer cut, which is what she got last year and it was prefect. Her appointment was scheduled for 9am. I dropped her off at 0845 am. At 145 pm, 5 hours later, they called and said she was ready. When they brought her out she was shaved almost to bare skin, and just chopped up, she looked like a lab not a golden retriever. I was not happy and when I said “This is too much” I got the attitude like “oh well”. I have never been so upset. Where is it ok to shave a Golden all the way down to bare skin? And No she was not matted all over. Just her tail and bottom area because she won’t let me brush her in those areas. AND when I got her home, she ran straight to her water bowl as if she had not had anything to drink in Almost 6 hours. I will never take her back there.
