I had such a wonderful experience with Dr. Sills and his staff. I have been back and forth with my 1.5 year old golden retriever puppy to a previous vet and an ER to address concerns of him not eating and not acting like himself. Dr. Sills took the time to thoroughly address all of my concerns with patience and care. He reviewed every single thing forwarded to his office in regard to my pet. Not only was he incredibly clear about the treatment plan, but his compassion for my pet was evident in every interaction. It's rare to find a vet who combines expertise with such genuine kindness. I truly appreciated his willingness to listen and make sure I felt confident and comfortable in the care my pet was receiving. I highly recommend Petchester Veterinary to anyone looking for a vet who goes above and beyond.

Feb 01, 2025 · Cheryl PassavantiOn Friday January 31 I brought my cat in to Petchester because he had trouble breathing. Due to complications with his health, he passed away at this clinic. The receptionists who were working that day were very unwelcoming and had a lack of empathy from the moment that I walked in. The image attached to this review was the text that I received from my cousin who walked in with me & dropped me off. She was shocked by their unfriendly demeanor. I was called to the back a few times to discuss the next steps for my Cat with Dr. Ring. She is fantastic, joyful and tried her best to help ease the pain I felt in my heart from the terrible news I was given before he passed away. When I was told to go back to the waiting room I could not hold back the pain that I felt, and began crying out loud. It was difficult for me to breathe. However the receptionists were laughing out loud and talking about shopping and chatting amongst themselves instead of offering their client a cup of water or even a single tissue. Some clients are coming in to this facility for a simple pet check up while others are there to put their best friends to sleep forever. The receptionists need to be reminded that your clinic isn’t a shopping mall or a dive bar. It is very important to be mindful of the clients that are coming in and paying thousands of dollars for their pets to be treated. I will not bring any of my pets back here in the future.
Feb 12, 2025 · A BerriosWe brought our dog in for a check up because he had developed a few lumps, one of which was large enough that it would likely start to impact his ability to walk. Dr. Adi took a look and walked us through what it could potentially be and then proceeded to do blood work and prepare tissue samples for a cytology test. We proceeded with scheduling a surgery appointment regardless of the results. Chase went in for surgery about a week and a half later. The whole crew kept us well informed before, during, and after surgery. They sent us home the day of with some medication, clear instructions, and told us to come back the following day to check in on his bandages. When we went back, they told us he was good to go with a T-shirt since he was healing up well! A few days later the biopsy results came in and Dr. Adi gave us a call telling us the results came back all clear (non cancerous)! Chase is still healing and on the mend but we are so so thrilled with the staff here. There isn’t another vet we’ve ever brought chase to that we would have trusted to do this surgery (compared to vets in Manhattan). Thanks to everyone on the staff for keeping our fur baby happy, healthy, and joyful despite the situation.
Jul 20, 2024 · Jacqueline LiangI've been taking my pets to Petchester for several years. I just adopted another rescue dog, Bailey, and I knew I needed to get her settled with the Petchester vets, Dr. Ben Adi or Dr. Sills. They are so caring and efficient. The ladies at the front desk are exceptional
