Pet Urgent Response and Emergency

We are incredibly grateful for the exceptional care our senior pup received at PURE. Dealing with an obstruction in an older dog is always challenging, but Dr. Garcia‘s expertise and bedside manner brought us a great level of comfort and reassurance. The staff provided constant updates and guided us through the process with patience and support. They even allowed and encouraged visits while our old man stayed in the hospital for a few nights, which reinforced the fact they had his best interests at heart. With their kindness and compassion, we knew he was in the best hands. For those needing the services of an emergency animal hospital, this facility and team is outstanding!

Because of San Pablo Animal Hospital's carelessness (let's just say an overall horrible experience, I owe them a review as well)- I frantically called PURE ER after coming home from work finding two of my babies with dilated pupils, ataxia and other symptoms of buprenorphine poisoning/overdose. From the receptionist, who I was talking to on our way there, she took all information down over the phone so my babies could be seen immediately when we got there. The technicians and Dr Marisa Curro, everyone treated my babies with kindness and care. The doctor was very thorough explaining everything, answering my questions and was amazing in making sure I was not worried about them (I was beside myself when we got there) and that she provided information on them in a timely manner. I felt like my babies were in good hands, and their wellbeing mattered to those who cared for them at this hospital. This is huge, as finding a veterinarian that is dedicated, knowledgeable and CARES, proved to be extremely challenging. And if you love your babies like I do, you don't want to take chances giving them in the wrong hands. I am grateful I found PURE , and we will be clients from now on. Thank you for everyone who cared for Joey and Jamie yesterday.

The team that took Cam in on Sunday was amazing. I called ahead and they were expecting us. Dr Jessica was very sweet to my nervous pup. Sebastian was also very very kind to us during the check in. Highly recommend to all pet parents with no doubt. There was a critical patient that came in while we were in hold but I appreciate that they had to step away to help that one, that tells you they will assist your pet right away if you are in a critical emergency. Thank you Pure team!

We are so grateful for the care we received when our pup had an accident with a car. We are new to town and only knew the facility was close because we had passed by so when it happened, we were able get our dog there very quickly. The staff were all amazing in their treatment of our Ava and compassion for us. We were kept informed of her treatment plan. They also followed up with us after we were home to see how she was.doing. I would give them 20 stars if I could. Our girl is recovering very well and we are grateful.

One of the best experiences I have ever had the pleasure of in my 60+ years of owning pets. I was in the area to watch my grand Dog and had an issue that I needed to use this emergency vet. The staff and the vet were so attentive and so patient, they truly love their jobs; it’s so apparent. I cannot strongly recommend this practice more. They truly love what they do and it shows through and through. Thank you for taking such good care of the Rory-girl!
