This place nickle and dimes you. I took 2 cats in to get spayed. I asked them what do I need to bring I was told just bring the pet, payment method and current vaccination. So I brought what was asked of me. Then when  they take my pets in to the back they requested an additional amount per pet for not bringing in my pet carrier and having to use their kennels. Then after the surgery they charge me another fee per pet because they were in heat. And as I sat in the waiting room waiting for my pet to be discharged I hear the receptionist tell almost every person. That it's and additional charge because their pet was in heat. Sounds a little suspicious to me but I had no choice but pay. No use in arguing. In all I paid about double than expected because of several EXTRA charges.  The wait is ridiculously long for drop off and pickup. The customer service was average. I am told to return and get stitches removed in 10days..bet I have even more charges upon my return.  I do not recommend this place unless it's last resort. And expect to spend lots of money and time here.

I highly recommend this veterinarian clinic because they’re fast efficient although you sometimes have to wait for a good service. They’re worth the wait and affordable. I drive 19 miles across San Antonio because they’re that good.

I’ve been bringing my dogs here for over a decade. The service is worth the wait in the waiting room. The staff is very straight to the point. My advice is be patient and just know you can’t put a price on our four legged family members.

I've been coming to this clinic since I was 17 which was in 2020. Me and my family have brought 6-7 cats here since discovering it and I can honestly say that while the clinic indeed does have long wait times, they do great work every time. They appear to be a very high volume clinic in terms of their spay and neuters and I believe that is apart of them working to help provide low cost vet services for the low income community of San Antonio. When I entered college I was unsure of my major but knowing how relieved I was when I was able to get my first cat the proper veterinary care, I decided to try and pursue a career in veterinary medicine so that one day I can also help my community the way Dr. Rogers and his veterinary staff have in their time working in San Antonio. Some of the people in here complaining about the price must have never stepped foot into another clinic because the clinics I've worked in or volunteered in charge 3x as much for almost every service this clinic provides.

Dr. Rogers was very kind, and thorough when examining my baby. I was so afraid my pup wouldn’t be able to handle it but he did so good! Dr. Rogers and his team take their time making sure you’re aware of what your dog may need and where they stand. Very affordable as well. Thank you.

Just took my 2 month puppy here and they take of her really well! They also didn’t take that long, even though we didn’t have an appointment. Doctor were very informative. Highly recommend this vet. Also very cheap compared to other vet places. I have another dog at home and I probably start bringing both my dogs here! ✨

I called Petshotz needing to get in quickly they had availability right away. They were informative and took great care of our Pup! I’m glad to now have someone consistent for all his needs
