This is a fantastic hospital where the staff really care about helping your pet versus fattening their pockets. I drove over 2 hours to get my dog a dental, and it was well worth it. Dr. Morris is amazing and takes the time to explain every detail about your pet. I'm so glad my dog is doing much better because of Pet Guards. I honestly feel that my dogs quality of life has improved due to getting rid of his rotten teeth. My dog is 14 and half blind and he was treated just as well as the new rambunctious puppies. Just remember, if you go here, be willing to wait some hours as everyone will be taking their furry family members to this wonderful place.

One reviewer who drove over two hours specifically for a dental procedure praised the hospital, emphasizing that the staff truly cares about helping pets rather than just financial gain. Another customer who visited with their new dog noted that the facility was clean. While they mentioned a typical "smell of pets," they acknowledged that this is to be expected in a veterinary office. A notable aspect of their accommodation was allowing the pet owner to wait outside until their appointment, which was appreciated as their dog was fearful of new places. This suggests a willingness to make the experience as comfortable as possible for both pets and their owners.
The reviews highlight several key services provided at Pet Guards Clinic, indicating a commitment to a range of veterinary care:

May 11, 2025 · Jalon HeltonWe took our new dog here & although we had to wait a little maybe an hour which I'm told for a Saturday isn't bad at all. The staff & Vet were very kind & knowledgeable. The facility was clean. It did smell of pets, but I mean, it's a vet's office it's going to. Our dog is a big baby, she's afraid of almost every one & place so it was nice that I could wait outside until it was our turn. It was a very pleasant experience & we will be back.
Apr 05, 2025 · Jill LoweryIt was my 1st time here & I absolutely loved it. Chi Chi had to be vaccinated & needed a new vet at home. I truly truly appreciate Pet Guards they were reasonable & they loved on my overly excited puppy like family. Willie my go to vet when in Ohio!
May 10, 2025 · Devon'e MosleyBeen going here for over 30 years. The best part is you can just walk in without an appointment. There is a wait depending on how busy they are. You could probably call first to check. Very affordable care compared to other vets I've been to. Do you know your pets need dental work/check-up? They do that here affordably! They also run a rescue shelter as well in another facility, so these guys are just great! And the business was founded by a Veteran! Enough said...
May 02, 2025 · Reviews by RobertI’ve been bringing my pets here for a while and have continuously had bad experiences, the only reason I kept going was because they’re low cost. There are 3 vets that i’ve met (2 males and a female), the male vets are very kind but the female vet immediately got an attitude with me because I couldn’t afford a certain medication for my dog. I was then given an expired medication for my dog for free, when I came back to ask for a new one they told me I would have to pay for it if I wanted one that wasn’t expired. The receptionists also get attitudes with you the second you have any push back on anything they have to say. I would suggest bringing your pets to VIP pet care, they’re a little more pricey but they don’t give you expired medicine, and they aren’t assholes :)
