My cat was having some very concerning issues, and my regular vet couldn't get him in. They recommended the Pet Emergency Center, so I ended up taking him there. They were very upfront about costs and treatments and very gentle with my buddy. The result was good and the tests gave me some things to discuss with my regular vet. By the time we got home, I could tell my buddy was feeling better. Sometimes the cost of care is expensive, but worth the peace of mind. I'd do it all over again. Thank you to the staff of Pet Emergency Center.

Apr 05, 2025 · Dunk DemareeSo thankful they got my dog in quickly even at 10pm and helped her as I thought she was going to die. The staff was super sweet, the price was totally fair for an over night stay. We thank you! Blu girl is doing so much better.
Feb 05, 2025 · Gracy ShankI was very nervous about selecting an emergency vet. I looked at reviews and asked family and friends for input. I selected Skagit and am so happy that I did. I do have experience with ER vets and this practice does not put your pet through expensive tests unless they are necessary to treatment. My cat had an ugly eye infection that appeared much worse than it was. We were treated and done within 90 minutes on a Saturday. The staff was very professional and kind. I was with my cat during his exam. It cost just over $300; the local vet offering ER during week days charges $420 just to walk in the door. I am very grateful and happy. Thank you Skagit!!
Mar 25, 2025 · Lisa Jo CuevasI took my 10 week old puppy in today due to vomiting, eye swelling and lethargy. My little babe doesn’t have his vaccinations yet as I just got him a week ago so we had to wait in the car to do a Parvo test and make sure he didn’t have that. I was told the test would take about 8 minutes. I sat in the car for 45 minutes and finally called the office. I was put on hold for a few minutes and then finally told the Parvo test was negative and that they would talk to the vet and figure out a plan of care. I sat in the car for another 30 minutes and finally I called back and said I was leaving as they seemed to be too busy for my dog and that he was seeming to do better now anyways. I only had to pay for the test which is fair. But I left with absolutely zero answers for my dog. I feel that had my dog been throwing up consistently, I still would have been sitting in the car with not a care in the world from the vets. Definitely not what I was expecting or hoping for while going to get emergency care for my puppy. Update: I had to take my puppy in again due to having a younger child that leaves things laying around and no other close emergency vets. Puppy got into yogurt covered raisins. I took him up to emergency vet and they immediately had someone come get him even with other people in the waiting area. They explained everything that was going to happen and what was taking place. They also let us go sit in a room while we waited with my kids. Maybe the first time I had to go it was just an all out hard day for everyone but I had a much better experience this time and felt more safety in where I was taking my pup. Unfortunately my pup had a terrible day as there ended up being no raisins in his tummy but I would rather be safe than sorry as he was chewing on an opened box of them.
Apr 18, 2025 · Rhiannan NaylorOur puppy broke her leg and landed us in emergency vet care. The staff here was absolutely phenomenal. We are so grateful for the kind and compassionate care that our fur baby received today.
