My 10 year old cat, foxy, was attacked by raccoon in December of 2022. She was bit on the leg and scratched on the eye. At first, her eye was swelling shut and I was worried it was becoming infected. I took her to Bellevue Pet Clinic and they gave her antibiotic eye drops and instructed us to continue to treat her twice a day for a week. Her eye was beginning to open and things were looking up! Then a week later, foxy began to limp. That is when I noticed that she had a bite on her leg that had began to pus and bleed (it’s almost like it worsened overnight). No other clinic could take her on such short notice and I knew that she had to be seen ASAP due to her behavior (isolating herself, limited movement) and the fact that she would not stop licking her wound. I was shocked to see how fast everything started to go downhill. The day of her original visit, there was no visible wound so it must have gotten infected and swelled. I called Bellevue Value Pet Clinic immediately and they got me in the same day. They cleaned her wound and told me she would need surgery ASAP. They performed surgery on her leg the next morning. All the staff were very kind to me considering how scared I was for my baby. The prices were reasonable and DEFINITELY less expensive in contrast to other pet clinics. She had several visits after (bandage changes) and she was recovering so well! Foxy gets nervous and anxious when at the vet, but they treated her so well and the care for her by the staff was heartwarming! I love how the staff at this clinic genuinely love and care for their furry friends unlike other clinics who just see these animals as nothing more than a check. This was definitely the worst scare I’ve had regarding my cat and I am so so thankful for the vets and staff that helped her along the way. She is back to her cuddly and lovable self now and I have this clinic to thank! I will leave photos of foxy in her first couple days since she was hurt and a photo of her now! Again, thank you x1000 to the staff at Bellevue Vet Clinic!!

Based on customer reviews, experiences appear to vary. One detailed positive review highlights the clinic's responsiveness and compassionate care during a critical situation. They efficiently treated a cat with injuries from an animal attack, including providing antibiotics, performing necessary surgery, and offering follow-up care. The reviewer specifically praised the kindness of the staff and the reasonable pricing compared to other clinics. They also noted the staff's genuine care for the animals, which helped their anxious cat feel more comfortable.
However, other reviews present concerns regarding the clinic's organization and professionalism. These reviews mention instances of attempted unnecessary vaccinations, a questionable recommendation for surgery that was contradicted by a second opinion, errors with medication prescriptions, and appointment scheduling issues. One reviewer also described an unprofessional and rude interaction with the owner/doctor.
While the front desk and nurses are consistently described as nice and helpful, some feedback suggests a lack of confidence in the overall leadership and organization of the clinic. Feb 09, 2023 · Erika HernandezConsistently unorganized, just look at the other reviews from the past year. In the recent past they have: -tried to give my dog vaccinations they had already had recently and didn’t need yet - suggested knee surgery, got a second opinion elsewhere and they said it was completely unnecessary and that my dogs knees are fine - doctor prescribed medication and when I came into pick it up they had no record of it and had to scramble to fill it - they canceled my scheduled appointment and rebooked me at another time that didn’t work. When I tried to reschedule they said “we don’t normally do afternoon appointments” which isn’t true -the owner, doctor snyman got extremely rude, contentious and raged at me after he asked if my dog had a heart murmur and I said yes , isn’t that in his records? Apparently I deeply offended him by hoping he would take a quick glance at my dogs medical records before the exam. I was trying to tell the nurse about it after and he barged in to apologize to me but the damage was done. I would never feel comfortable returning if this is the professionalism, bedside manner and leadership he shows. The front desk and nurses have always been nice and helpful but overall the leadership doesn’t instill confidence or act professionally.
Jan 25, 2025 · Ezraw thepawSadly I had to put my dog down but they made it so much easier by being kind and helping me every step. I would recommend them 10/10 times thank you to the staff for being there in a time of need.
Feb 02, 2025 · Luis VillarroelMy fiancé and I brought our 11 week old kitten, Eddie, in this morning for ear mite treatment and we had a great experience. The lady at the front desk was patient and kind about taking payment over the phone. The vet tech was a younger guy with a pony tail and he was so gentle with Eddie, even giving him cuddles while taking his temperature. The veterinarian was a tall South African man (sorry I forgot everyone’s names here lol) who was also very welcoming. He was very efficient but still thorough in his examination of Eddie, prescribed him two medications for his mites and kindly explained what they are so that we knew what we were paying for. Overall everyone there seems to truly enjoy what they do. We will definitely be back for eddies neutering and vaccines.
Jan 03, 2025 · Amanda BaileyI'll keep this short: do not trust this vet with anything related to international travel documentation for your pet. I spent weeks going back and forth with them while they confidently assured me they knew what they were doing. They do not, despite having instructions from another reputable vet I usually visit (I needed a second vet to verify paperwork). They also make mistakes on paperwork (misspellings and my pet's birthdate) which would certainly hinder any travel plans with pets. They also refused to answer emails and phone calls and I only got answers by driving there.
