The vets and staff are absolutely wonderful here! The staff there still remembers my first dog and still talk about him. He passed three years ago. Now our new 10/11 month old puppy got a bowel obstruction that they diagnosed easily and were very kind in breaking news and waited for us to come in and see her prior to surgery. The cost of surgery was reasonable (compared to other friends whom had surgeries on their dogs elsewhere) They gave me the SOAP notes within 10 minutes of my request for our dog insurance claim and have been nothing but amazing with regular checkups and prevention and grooming since we got our puppies! I am a physician and I wish human healthcare and insurance ran this well. I try to deliver this type of care to all my patients but with lack of time and ability to cultivate a relationship and ability to get what my patients need at a reasonable cost and time it is infuriating. Our dog got better care than we likely do at a transparent cost. Thank you for caring for our wonderful Kali Perrysburg Animal Hospital!

My seven year old siamese cat was recently diagnosed with diabetes. Perrysburg Animal Hospital has been treating him and was able to get his glucose under control with a daily pill called Bexacat. They are so caring and compassionate whenever he comes in for his check-ups. I've also had to board him there, and they took such good care of him. They're very thorough and upfront with everything they do. No one wants to find out they have a sick pet, but I'm so glad I have somewhere I can trust to have him cared for when needed. My little man, Hunter, says thank you, and so do I.

At first, I loved this place. It then quickly turned into a money dump. Constantly going for my puppies digestive issues, paying for expensive meds and test, even leading to her being admitted for becoming dehydrated after days of diarrhea. The only treatment they offered were temporary fixes and no explanations. she’d be fine for maybe a week, two weeks if she’s lucky. During exams the vets never checked her ears, teeth, eyes ect. Simply briefly listened to my concerns and ran the bill as high as possible. I wish I was being dramatic, I’ve since taken her to a new vet a small office who does a full thorough exam, checks hip mobility. Ears, eyes, teeth, heart, and genuinely cares for the pets that step into his office. If you are in a high tax bracket and can afford to pay top dollar for mediocre service by all means consider this place. But I truly recommend finding a small vet office People’s concerns for the pricing here are true, caring for your pets shouldn’t be a struggle and they’re aware you’ll do and pay anything for your fur family

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Haley Woyame for your dog training! She took my disobedience, stubborn,crazy hyper, refusing to listen dog and turned him into such a good boy! Not only did she teach my dog but she taught us as well! We are very thankful for Haley and perrysburg animal hospital/the barn! If you're considering training, this is the place to go!

Brought my poor itchy pup in, she's been miserable for a while with no signs of improvement. Perrysburg Animal Hospital offered kindness towards my large, reactive beast of a german shepherd. They were patient with her and allowed her time to adjust before getting on the floor with her and showing her so much love 🥰 my girl is already on the up and up and had no itching last night after a single dose of medicine. I'm hoping for improvement and I feel confident in taking her back for her follow up in a few weeks. Thank you guys!
