Very sad. It has taken me a while to write this review because I was very upset. I took my husky in to be tested for valley fever because she hadn't eaten in a few days and my dad, growing up on a farm, had seen this exact thing happen. Was happy they were able to get me in that day, the appointment was specifically made to get her tested for valley fever. The vet came in to look at her and I said what had been going on and that I want her tested for valley fever. She was pretty rude to me, not very gentel with my dog, looked at my dogs teeth and told me that her gums were inflamed and she had an infection in her gums that was making her sick. So I asked for them to do blood work on her. Once the blood work was done the vet said that she needed antibiotics and I needed to get tests done to see if her liver and kidneys were working properly because of what was low. I asked again about valley fever. The vet treated me like I was stupid and said it wasn't valley fever. They also took her temp when we got there and I heard the vet tech say 107 (I did not know the average temp for dogs) they didn't say anything to me about her having a high fever and they didn't put it on her paperwork when I checked later. So got the antibiotic, got home, she feels extremely hot, this is when I look up the average temp for dogs and relize I just left the vet with my baby having an extremely high fever. So I get her fever down and start giving the antibiotics. Three days go by and she is getting worse, I am syringing food and water into her and she is miserable. I call the vet back, thank god there was a different vet on staff, and I tell them I need the medication for valley fever. I tell them I am bringing her in, send the test out, but I need enough medication to last until that test comes back. The vet on staff this time was very nice, she agreed to give me enough medication until the test came back and gave her fluids, I could tell she actually really cared about the animals. If I had seen this vet the first time my dog might still be alive. Unfortunately the day the test came back confirming it was valley fever my baby died that morning. I am sorry to the good vet that I cant remember her name, but thank you for trying to help. It still breaks me to think that my baby died before she had to, and I shouldnt have listen to the first vet. Please remember limping is not the only sign of valley fever, it can present differently in different dogs.

I've been going to the vet for 25 years I've had hundreds of dogs go through here from my animal rescue in florence she will come to your house to make your dog more comfortable for an extra cost she's reasonably priced extremely professional. I trust her completely she cares about your pet almost as much as you care. I highly recommend this clinic I have no complaints on her whatsoever none that's rare for me never had a disagreement or difference in opinion. Wendy holst is #1 vet her clinic in Coolidge even took donations over the phone put towards the rescues account towards future our current vet bills when there was a story about the rescue on the news she's also appeared in the Florence blade and tribune with me her tech that adopted a dog I rescued that she had amputated the leg of she did a beautiful job by the way she was also there for me in an emergency situation when another vet turned me and a dog away that was dying from brain swelling after being attacked by several other dogs if it was not for her that dog would have suffered unimaginable pain for hours. she seen some more my most precious family members out of their life with love dignity and respect i respect her professionally and personally you will too

I've been taking my dog Archie to Paws for a couple of years after the prior Vet retired. The staff has been great, and I have been very satisfied with the Services provided.

My 16 year old inside cat somehow got fleas and became very dehydrated. I feared losing him. But the clinic did a awesome job and he is doing just great!
