Paws Plus Veterinary

Had such a wonderful experience at Paws Plus Lakeland! Everyone here is so kind & loving to my pets! Debbie at the front desk is super helpful & always returned my calls promptly. I brought my kitten Sushi in to get spayed & they took great care of her, minimal scarring & she was in good spirits right after surgery. (And $100 for spay is pretty inexpensive compared to many places I had researched). Then I also brought my dog Harley in for a check up & again all the nurses & Dr’s were very attentive & kind & I highly recommend this veterinary clinic!

Everyone is so friendly! They truly care about the dogs and cats of this community. I took in a stray dog to foster recently. He has been on his own for quite some time. Paws Plus worked with me to get him tested quickly for and protected against diseases & parasites. He's coming next week to be neutered. The charges for these services are the most reasonable I have found. These same procedures at a for-profit veterinarian would be easily 2, even 3x the cost! I am highly recommending Dr. V and her caring and knowledgeable team!

I went to Paws Plus when they opened. They are very good with my animals. All the employee’s are kind, considerate, and very helpful. It also helps that their prices are reasonable. I love the atmosphere and the camaraderie they all have for each other. It’s like a family, and I am glad to be a part of it. I am thankful for all they do. I can't praise this place enough. Staff is very friendly, they communicate well, it's easy to get a last minute appointment, and most importantly, they take excellent care of my pup. Admittedly, it was a little scary taking my then-11 week old puppy, Nami, to a newer organization without many reviews, but she got all her puppy vaccines and was treated well, so I figured I'd schedule her spay surgery around 6 months too. I'm so happy I did, because not only were they $300 cheaper than the last vet I took my other dog to, but also she recovered super well and quickly and was given extra meds to keep her as comfortable as possible. Now, just a few weeks later, Nami is thriving, healthy, and as energetic as you'd expect from a border collie puppy! Thank you, Paws Plus, for taking such good care of her. 🤍🖤

I was referred to them through an emergency vet when my kitten was diagnosed with pyometra (infection of the uterus) not only did they have me rush her right in, they were so kind and gentle with my baby. They explained everything to me and their only priority was saving my kittens life. They are easily affordable and there were no hidden charges. I received a follow up call the next day asking how my Pickles is doing. I will never go to another vet. They made me feel like my kitten was their top priority and if it wasn't for them my baby wouldn't be here. I could never thank them enough for saving her life and not only did they make sure my kitten would be okay, they made sure I was okay as well.
