Oct 09, 2024 · Booiyey PkjbudCan’t say enough good things. My dog is 5 years old and just had ACL surgery on both back legs. It was super stressful for me, but this office has helped so much! They were there to help answers all the questions I had and were even available on the weekend! Picture of my pup recovering! ❤️🩹
Aug 26, 2024 · Mauri RobertsNot very caring. Left me with unanswered questions about my dogs condition. I didn't get her rabies tags. They said they didn't have any. I would have to wait till they come in. I'm still waiting 3 weeks later. Very unsatisfied with the services I got
Jan 26, 2025 · Jackie ArcherI am extremely disappointed with the care my dog received at Paws and Claws under Dr. Campbell. On 12/02, we brought our dog in for an appointment at 4 p.m. (the only available slot) and explained his symptoms: wobbly hind end, loss of stool control, reduced appetite, but solid stool prior to the appointment. Upon arrival, my wife informed them he had diarrhea due to stress, but they prescribed unnecessary diarrhea medication anyway. The visit cost $356.20 and accomplished little. They requested we return the next day for bloodwork and x-rays, even though degenerative myopathy was suspected and no treatment was available for it. During the second visit, we opted for bloodwork only, which took just 5 minutes and cost $191.70. This could have been done during the first visit. Dr. Campbell later reported the bloodwork showed anemia and suspected autoimmune disease or degenerative myopathy, emailing us referrals for internal medicine. Seeking better care, we went to CSU Veterinary Teaching School, where an ultrasound revealed a mass on our dog's spleen. Another vet confirmed the mass was likely causing internal bleeding. A splenectomy resolved the issue, and our dog is now doing great. Two other vets confirmed his bloodwork was normal, contradicting Dr. Campbell’s findings. In total, Paws and Claws charged us $547.90 for visits that provided no answers and prescribed unneeded medication. Their approach felt rushed and profit-driven, and I cannot trust their diagnostic accuracy. I will not return to Paws and Claws and would not recommend their services to anyone who values thorough and effective veterinary care.
