I have a 13 year old dog and I am at the early stages of thinking of putting him down. He went to this location a couple of times and it was fine (neutered, immunizations - something any vet could do), however, when I called to inquire about this service, I was told they wouldn’t do it because he was an “inactive patient”. So? This is a passive-aggressive clinic that I don’t think can afford to be in such a small community.

Caring, Understanding, Professional, Affordable, I have been going to this vet for every animal for over 30 years. Trust nobody else. His staff is first class and top notch. My dog loves them and does things for them he won't do for me. LOL. Thanks for all you do for my animal kids.

My hubby and I just recently moved from out of state and have been looking for a new vet here in cinci for our 4 animals. We saw great reviews for Paw Print and thought we would give them a try. Here's my honest review Pros: Kind techs and location close to a pet store in Newtown Cons: Overall lack of communication. No contact with the vet before he gave unnecessary injection and shaved our cat in random spots. -I was told by the tech that my cat was being taken to the back to check weight and "get him ready for the doctor." After a few minutes, someone else (not the doctor) came in and asked me if our cat was good with liquid medication or if he preferred pills. Roughly 5 more minutes went by, and the original tech brought our cat back to the room, letting me know they had given him an injection, done bloodwork, and that the vet would be in shortly. **All of this happened without consulting me first or informing me of the injection or bloodwork ahead of time** The vet seemed focused on a previous diagnosis (FIV) that had nothing to do with our cats current situation. - Our cat was being more vocal, restless at night, etc. The vet read that in the notes, did not talk to me or ask any additional questions first, and proceeded to treat him as if he had been in a fight and had a hidden bite mark that we "just couldn't see yet." He shaved our cat in multiple spots looking for this hidden bite mark that didn't exist, gave our cat an antibiotic injection, and sent us home with 2 weeks worth of antibiotics we had to finish (because they're antibiotics). After doing all of this, he finally came in the room to talk to me and mentioned that the pulp was showing on a broken K9 where it was not showing prior. He recommended we let him completely remove the tooth, which we have been instructed prior to never do as it affects their facial structure and causes further difficulties. I had to ask about a dentist for animals that could do a root canal in Ohio. After this, he proceeded to give me the "he was probably in a fight, there's a magical bite mark you can't see" spiel and told me we needed to continue him on an antibiotic for 2 weeks. Overall, I definitely would not recommend Paw Print Animal Hospital. We have an appointment scheduled elsewhere to address the actual issue (pain from his K9).
