I can't say enough wonderful things about Patriot Animal Hospital, specifically Dr. Mathiak, and her amazing team there. They have been with us through some of the most emotional moments as dog owners, and their kindness, compassion, and professionalism have made all the difference. When our beloved dog was nearing the end of his life, the entire staff treated him—and us—with such tenderness and care. It is clear that they genuinely love animals and understand the deep bonds we share with our dogs. They helped us through that incredibly difficult time with empathy, patience, and respect, and we will always be grateful for the support they gave us during his final months and minutes. Since then, we’ve welcomed a new dog into our lives, and the team at Patriot Animal Hospital has been just as amazing. Unfathomably, due to an unscrupulous breeder, our new dog had a significant health issue which they immediately detected and started treating. Sure enough, after a few months of careful treatment, our dog is seemingly fully recovered and healthy as can be. Lastly, we’ve built a strong bond with everyone who works there, and we’re so grateful for how empathetic and understanding they’ve always been. The veterinarians, techs, and front desk staff are all very knowledgeable, warm, and attentive. It feels like they treat every animal as if they were their own. We truly appreciate everything they’ve done for us and wouldn’t trust anyone else with our boy's care. Patriot Animal Hospital is a special place, and we’re lucky to have them.

Outstanding experience, I highly recommend Patriot AH! I'm a picky one who likes to read up on treatments and I like to be informed. So I have been vet clinic hopping for years in hopes of finding one that provides customized care and attention to detail. At Patriot AH they listen, share, provide space, gentle care, and handle shy pets the way they stay as calm as possible. Even the manager greeted us since we were first-time clients. The clinic is spotless, looks modern, smells great, is spacious, and very comforting. They welcomed my other pet for "emotional support" for my dog who had an appointment" even though she didn't have an appointment. I wanted to get monthly heartworm prevention only (without the flea and tick in it -HeartGuard, not HeartGuard Plus), and Dr. Mathiak listened and considered my hardship with administering the HeartGuard to my tiny dog and offered alternatives and provided space for me to do my own research and pick the method I liked best. They asked me if it was OK with them drawing blood in the room with us which I was fascinated by since when I asked that at other places (no one ever offered it in advance) I always got the "Ugh, great!" facial expression even though my pets do not put up a fight for the procedures. They draw blood from my tiny Maltipoo in one try perfectly, with no squirming, no screaming, and no oopsies like several tries to get things done. I love that they are so accommodating and work with you and not try pushing stuff to you. I got great recommendations on supplements and how to administer them conveniently for my pets and me. They asked but were not pushing vaccines or other treatments at all, which I very much appreciated, since I want Rabies only for my pets, nothing else. We love to support local family-owned businesses and we are beyond happy that we have found Patriot AH. I'm very hopeful that it's the beginning of a wonderful relationship of many many years to come since we have 3 cats and 2 pups. Update: 9/6/24 We had another awesome visit. My shy pups have a new favorite treat, the banana peanut butter flavor they got at PAH. 🥰😍❤️ Outstanding experience. Had to share two short vids of them warming up with the help of yummies. 🐶🐶

I recently took my dog Bruno to Patriot Animal Hospital for his annual check-up, and I couldn't be more impressed with the experience. From the moment we walked in, the environment was incredibly welcoming and felt just like home. The staff was not only friendly but also very knowledgeable. They treated Bruno as if he were part of their own family, which made a huge difference. It's clear that they genuinely care about their patients and the owners. This is exactly what our community needed - a family-owned, community-first animal hospital with strong patriotic values. I highly recommend Patriot Animal Hospital to anyone looking for the best care for their pets. Dr. Mathiak and Freddy, the owners, along with their staff, are knowledgeable, compassionate professionals who go above and beyond. Keep up the great work!

I have so much good to say here, I don’t know where to start. A questionable visit to another vet in the area had me looking for a second opinion immediately. Fast forward 3 months and I have found the BEST vet’s office I’ve ever been to, at Patriot! Everyone from the office staff to the vet himself went above and beyond in every capacity. Making my scared old dog comfortable, spending so much time going over history and ideas for treatments, to our most recent visit today for a major surgery. The time spent talking, explaining, the phone call after surgery to update us, the discharge appointment, I have never felt more confident in an entire office as I did walking out of there today. They know what they’re doing, their entire staff is incredible and I am forever thankful we made the choice to switch here. Client for life!!

If you need a new vet, this is the place! We have to mini schnauzers (our COVID dogs) who are *too* spoiled and mean the world to us - which means we are very particular about their care. I can’t say enough good things about Patriot Animal Hospital. From the moment we walked through the door, we felt completely at home. The office is spacious, cozy, and clean. The staff was welcoming and thorough with going over every step and collecting all of our information /concerns/desires. Dr. Amy and her awesome techs took the time to listen and truly respect our desires when it comes to the care of our babies. They walked us through every option with patience kindness, and empathy, and made sure we felt confident in every decision (which was so refreshing, especially when pet care can be so hard to make decisions on). We left feeling like they really took so much time to go over every single thing we were concerned about. You can be sure they genuinely care and love what they do! God bless!
